Am I the only one looking forward to New Vegas?

I burned myself out on Fallout 3 with all the DLC, and as such am not thrilled about the prospect of doing it again with a vegas theme.

That being said because I DID enjoy the hell out of Fallout 3 I will probably be buying this game once the PC version releases, and expect that it'll probably be fun.

uuuuuummm, WHY should the BoS not have been in 3???
Well, it just seemed so shoe-horned in. For one, in the 2nd game BoS was kinda dying out (notice, not much is being said about them for New Vegas), so it doesn't seem to make much sense for them to send a force across the country just to see if there is SOME tech when their numbers were dwindling anyhow.

Honestly I don't care if other people hate it. I like it and there's a large modding community who thinks the same. So I'm pretty easy either way.

Yes I am definitely looking forward to FO3 New Vegas.

To address one of the points some people had against FO3. BoS had every right to be in DC based on the fact that they are a paramilitary organization descended from the US military which seeks out prewar tech. What better place to find tech than DC? You can dig military tech and designs out of the Pentagon, go to the Patent Office and dig out schematics and designs for everything ever patented in the US, and find an immeasurable wealth of information on any subject in the Library of Congress. And it is at least 150 years after the events of the original games, more than enough time to spread operations out from the West Coast to the East Coast.

I heard they switched to a notoriously shoddy developer and thought that was what the criticism was about.

I did notice the pre-order adverts on steam...for November. That pretty much confirms fears that the devs have screwed it up, get some sales before the critics lambast it!

I spent sooooooooooooooo much time in The Wasteland (200+ Hours!) it seems like a crime to not take a trip to New Vegas.

Translation: I liked Fallout 3, I'm gonna get New Vegas.

I just hope that they make the guns more accurate this time around. If I have a sniper rifle, I expect it to shoot straight!
