Tekken 6.

"OH MY GOD! A NEW TEKKEN! THESE GAMES WERE MY CHILDHOOD! THIS IS AWESOME!"

*five minutes later*

"...What, that's it? I just beat the story mode for that character? ...Man, fuck this game."

GTA 4 bored me to tears after about an hour or two, so I went back and played Vice City. Timeshift bored the crap out of me too.

Everyone will hate me for this, but World of Warcraft many many years ago. I saw the opening video and was so excited! Then I saw the character creation graphics and was disappointing. After I created my character, it didn't get any better... I gave up after about an hour.

Hang on, wut? I'm just saying, I got bored of it. It's just not my thing. You know, opinions are allowed. I bet you don't like everything I like either.
Besides what do you mean without making it to adulthood? I didn't play it till I was 20, maybe it would have entertained me as a child but I didn't enjoy it when I played it.
nonono how dare u judge it without making it past the first three temples, and yes, if u have not completed a game u dont get an opinion... like u cant judge an album by listening to the first song and calling it a day
If the first song on the album is not to my taste I'm not going to listen to the rest of it. This is because that the first song is indicative of the style of the album and the rest will follow a similar pattern. Therefore I am quite within my right to have formed a negative opinion on it.
And come on, it's just a game, I have a lot of others I could enjoy rather than making myself play something I'm not enjoying. I didn't like it, so I didn't play it.

Ocarina of time, after the tutorial level village thing.
Hey, that's exactly when I quit!

All the hype for the game, so I bought the Gamecube port last year when I bought my Wii, and was amazingly bored.

OT:

Advance Wars: Days of Ruin

Hated the shift in tone, got bored after one sitting.

Prototype, I reckon.
I finished the game, but I never got around to do any achievements afterwards. Sold it after being untouched for a year.

I'll probably re-buy it for PS3 since it's pretty cheap these days. I have forgotten what made it so dull, but I believe it was that you were never left alone. Always some infected or an entire army at your heels.

I returned to WoW as of monday around 4p.m. I logged off around 4.35 p.m. bored out of my mind. I hope Cataclysm can keep my attention for longer than half an hour. Honestly, Why have I even returned? Isn't it always the same?

Half Life 2. The game just lost all fun around the hovercraft. If I weren't playing it all the way through to prove a point I would have abandoned it shortly afterwards.

Bioshock:
Tried to play it a few times but get bored within hours and fuck it off.

Gears of War:
Have both games. Meatheads aim, shoot, cover. Riveting.

I wouldn't say bored as much as, for example, getting the urge to pull my eyes out through my mouth, but the quote unquote fun of 2 worlds faded aout 0.0000000000000000000000001 nano seconds into the game.

Oh man...any game where the end section completely abandons what made it great (and is quite possibly one of the things I find most annoying in gaming).

Half-Life
Vampire: Bloodlines
Stalker: Shadow of Chernobyl
Fallout: New Vegas

All great games. All (in my eyes anyway) turn into a complete mess in the endgame.

Fallout 3 and new vegas. I forced myself to run through the game just to say I did it but DAMN! it was so terrible. I ended up hacking it, giving myself godmode and a fatman and then just ran around nuking the shit out of everyone...and I was still bored

I got up to stroggification in Quake 4, and after that I kind of lost interest in the game. Pretty generic and boring truth be told!

The PC version of Morrowind.

The Xbox version held my interest, because it felt so much better to play. But the PC version just didn't play right.
I know what you mean.
For some reason I had both versions when it was current (actually I still do I think), but preffered the xbox one.... except the constant Dirty Disk Errors that I didn't get with PC version.

I'd only play the PC one now though. With the oblivion texture mods etc etc
