"I... I need some wine..." She gazed at the wreckage of the palace, and tears began to stream from her eyes.

"Your majesty, I'm afraid to say that whatever the pirates used to power their cannons they used in mass on the palace, your lucky to be alive. I have placed the city under marshal law until further notice for the saftey of the city and you, my suggestion is to now head to Creta before the others do. I will leave my best captain to rebuild and defend the city. Also it is my oppinion that we use this outrageous attack on us as a Casus Belli against Jenje, we must attack back and make them pay." Mattiaus bowed to the king and awaited his instructions

The king looked around the ruins once more. "I think it'd be best if we turned to the church to shelter us for tonight."
