"Alright. Your higness, I need you to change into these." He threw Jon a pair of simple merchant clothes. "We'll be masquerading as father and son. Wait here." he disappeared into an alcove of the main hall. 7 minutes later, he came out, unrecognizable. He had grey hair, a full beard, a paunch, a cane and a crooked back. "So, how do I look?" He said in a voice that in no way sounded like his own. "Edwin, I assume you will be coming with? in that case you will need to put these on. You will come with as a partner in our business. You both will have to pick names other than your own. Your highness, if I give you a command, you must follow it, lest we be discovered. I have sent a note to the soldiers. I hand picked them as the best in the military. Everything is ready."

"Very well, general, I trust your plan." he took the clothes, and returned after short time, looking far more common, and strangely, far more comfortable, " I think I shall call myself William Arnup" he declared, "How does that sound?"

Damien rolled his neck. "Then I shall be Connor Arnup. We will wait for Edwin. Then, we must go out the traveling merchant's entrance. Otherwise we may attract attention." Damien looked at himself in a mirror. "It's amazing how many sins a pillow, some sackcloth, and a cane will cover." He then looked at Jon with some displeasure. "Come here, we need to fix you." He burned the end of a cork. He waited until it was cool, then stamped Jon's face with the burned end. He smeared the ashes. "There, now you look like a common merchant's child." He smiled at Jon. "We better get you out of here quickly, lest we are thrown out, of your own castle no less!. also, try sounding a little less... educated in your speech. Try and speak with some slang."

Jon grinned, and with it faded the last traces of regality. "Shaddup dad! Forgotten who you're talking to? I'm the guy who spent his life getting to know the people, not the fat shit the courtiers raised to be their ***** on the throne. I learned how to talk like a normal person, remember?"

"Right, business partner. Gotta get into it."

Edwin changed into the simple merchant clothes. They were loose fitting and comfortable, but rather raggedy. He guessed that it was better than peon clothing, since merchants were rather rich compared to the lower classes. He tucked away his kris, concealing it from sight. If anyone saw it, it would be a dead giveaway of their identity.

"I'm ready to move out when you are, partner."

Damien led the three out of the throne room to where the soldiers were waiting for them. "Watch your tongue when speaking to your father, boy." He admonished Jon. He nodded to the soldiers. He nudged Edwin. "Well, today was a great day, eh John? We sold almost everything, and to the king no less! Time to get going, got people to see, things to sell! We're gonna be rich!" Damien slapped his fake paunch, which gave a very real sounding clap. He turned to the soldiers. "Oi! Come on you lazy louts! I'm not payin' you to sit and gossip like a fishmonger's wife! We're done here, time to go!" He stepped on the ship. "Come on boy, don't be lazy! Your father better not beat a boy like you, in the prime of your life up to the ship!" When Jon reached him, Damien whispered in his ear. "We got a crowd going, so start acting." He turned away. to face Edwin. "Hurry up John! We're leaving!"

"I assume you speak of General Mattiaus? He is a noble man, and his allegiance is only to you, he lives only to serve the crown and our nation. The men love him, he is compassionate towards his foes, and he is a good strategist..." Premousa sighed, and felt the scar down the side of her face, "If only all of our politicians were as noble and kind as you or him, and many a thing would be better for us..."
Actually I meant the monarch of Jenje, my bad for not being clear on that one.

"In a minute, Tim!"

Edwin gathered a small bag of gold coins, just in case of emergency. You can always count on pirates leaving you alone after a "donation."

"Alright, ready."

Do I have permission to have control over Pimp's character to allow the scene to continue moving?

A question before I atttempt to grab a spot:
-What kind of technology are we looking at? Post-appocalyptic(think Fallout 3 minus the lasers) or medevil(think Fable 1)

How much knowledge/control do I have of the pirates and their actions? And if I don't control them, would they still respect me? (Either if they met me on the seas, or if I tried to talk to them)
Little to none. They're bandits, essentially. For the record, Yorg and I will be acting out pirates. If you meet them, they will likely approach you with attitude and disrespect.

Seeing as I am the general of the Skang military would it be alright if I decide the equipment the soldiers use, because I havent seen any real description of the Skang warriors.

[sup]Probably because I'm slightly brain dead at the moment.[/sup]
You can, although they're essentially all close-combat fighters- at most, probably one or two would have crossbows. They're pretty similar to Spartan soldiers, moving in units and specializing with swords, shields, and spears.

Sorry for not clarifying earlier!

Sure, although I'd rather Pimp get back here. At the moment, we'll just assume he agreed to answer the door.

Skang

The two soldiers by the door nod curtly in unison and reach for the large brass door handles. Opening the heavy wooden barrier, they stand aside, revealing three men in hoods, hunched over and weary. They enter the room, swaying, seeming drunk and unstable.

As they approach slowly, one of them reaches to their stomach. "Food," he moans weakly. "Our king... Food..." The other two men raise hands to their stomachs as well.

Then, with a sudden swiftness, all three wrench free multiple knives buckled from beneath their cloaks, and send a wide array of silver darts soaring toward the advisor and the general. The leader of the assassins lunges forward, a long hunting knife in hand, aiming to slice the monarch's neck.

Liatha

Two of Liatha's ships already stand alight, torched by the pirates. As commotion rages near the ports, a string of several men sneak through the deserted alleys of Liatha, each carrying a barrel labelled 'bananas'.

Another iron ball is shot, striking the palace and causing a large dining room to collapse.

Jenje

...Will suffer later.

Reacting switly, Marcus was able to swish his dark cloak out in front of him, the darts slicing through the fabric but losing there dangerous momentum!

Pulling out his silver rapier he lunged at the closest assassin, stabbing him in the right shoulder and twisting his blade, the assassin falling to his knees in a cry of pain as the rapier dug deeper into his shoulder.

Ronald grinned as the assassin moved to throw the darts, the darts flew through the air with surprising speed, however accuracy was certainly lacking. Nine of the darts stuck into his armor, not penetrating the banded steel, the final two darts missed entirely.

"Bad throw." He muttered rasing his crossbow pistol, squeezing the trigger allowing the bolt to fly towards his aggressor. The bolt connected with the mans right eye, painfully tearing apart the mans retina. The assassin hit the ground twitching, then soon fell unconscious, however death would not embrace the poor man for three minutes if left unattended.

Augustus swiftly dodged the mans attempt, and reached for his sword Bone. He proceed to block some of the assassins attacks with relative easy whilst moving back toward his line of guards. However the assassin was able to get a slice at the monarch's knee before the Kings men swarmed and devour the man with blows from their weapons.

Augustus stood behind a line of royal guards, he would have killed to take in on the action, but he new that he could not risk his life.

Skang

As two of the assassins are dropped to the ground, successfully subdued by Ronald and Marcus, the third struggles against the hold of the king's men. Two hold him by the arms, having disarmed the man, and another repeatedly punches the man in the gut. Though the assassin has failed, he hardly seems worried- in fact, he seems a little pleased.

"You PIG!" the assassin shouts, looking to Augustus with a wide grin, his mouth stained red with blood. In between each punch to the stomach that knocks the wind from his lungs, the man laughs, a wheezing airy laugh. "You disgusting, vile, rotten pig in a maze! Good luck!" He continues to laugh as he is beaten. Clearly, he is mad, unfit to even be an assassin.

Savan opened his mouth to reply but was cut off as the cannonfire struck the palace, the impact throwing the king of his feet. Standing with the help of a guard he quickly issued orders.

"Move every civilian to the basement, leave only the guards up here. We'll go down too, there's little we can do up here. We'll leave this situation in Mattiaus' hands."

Savan and his administrators descended into the cellars where many commoners were already waiting out the attack. Savan felt a pang of guilt as he wondered if any had been sheltering in the destroyed hall.

Augustus approached the man. The court room watched as the king made his way to the defeated threat. The people are no longer afraid, intact they are anxious. They want to see what their King has in store for the traitor.

The King Calls off his men, only two stand holding the man by the arms. With a sense of confidence he gives the man a swift punch to the guts.

"You will tell me why you are here" Augustus Boomed

The man stood silent

"I said, you will tell me traitor!" He said again, mentioning to a servant to bring him his blade.

Mattiaus woke with a start as the cannon roared again, he looked around, seeing his men still crossing the harbour in the row boats, he realised he must have been out for a couple of minutes at the most. Getting to his feet, he looked up at the palace seeing a gaping hole in a dinning room he realised that now was the time to secure the pirate ship before it did anymore damage. He ran down some steps, to a small boat, two of the guard had been waiting for him, he got in telling them to push off. The rowed fast, the noise of the paddles covered by the screams from the city and the fighting between his men and the pirates on land.

The small Row boat arrived, the other 3 waiting for his to arrive. With a nod they quickly scaled the side of the ship. The pirates unaware of their new guests were reloading one of the cannons. Mattiaus drew his sword, as did the guards, with a nod the fell upon the pirates, slaughtering them where they stood. Mattius cleaved his sword through a pirates chest splitting the man in half. He was pissed, seriously pissed. In a matter of moments the pirates lay dead their blood coating the deck of the ship. "Secure the ship, go beneath and kill any fucking pirate you find" he told his men.

A short while later two of the guards dragged the pirates captain from his room, beaten, blood dripped from his mouth. "Did Jenje send you to do this?" Mattiaus roared in his face. The captain spat blood a Mattiaus. Mattiaus kicked him in the groin, the captain screamed in pain. Crouching, Mattiaus grabbed the captain by the balls, he squeezed, the captain screamed louder, going pale in pain. ?I?ll ask you one more time. Did. Jenje. Send. You?? The captain, in extreme pain gasped to Mattiaus, ?Go to hell!?. Mattiaus placed his sword by the captains balls, and in one motion cut them off. The Captains screamed and passed out. When he came round he screamed again. Mattiaus slammed his sword through the Captains chest. The guards let him fall to the deck. Mattiaus went into the captains office, grabbing a piece of parchment he jabbed the quill into the ink. He wrote 3 letters.

Returning to the deck he gave each one to a guard, the first was to the Captain of the Royal Guard summoning the King and his advisor to the harbour to leave as soon as possible and to bring his cloak, ceremonial sword and trident. The second was to his 2nd in command detailing a number of guards he wanted to join him for the journey to Creta, that he wanted all of the dead pirates bodies and a number of the most ill citizens bodies in the city packed into the pirate ship and returned to Jenje as a present (the ill bodies should contaminate any who came into contact with them, spreading a lethal disease across Jenje.) once the cannons had been removed and taken to the Artificers for understanding, replication and for improvement and finally what to do whilst he, the king and the kings advisor was gone. The third letter was to the captain of the fastest ship remaining in Liatha to prepare for the journey to Creta and all the supplies they would need. The three men scaled down the ship to a boat and rowed back to the harbour wall. With the rest of the guards, Mattiaus dragged the ship to the harbour side and secured the ship. He returned to the crushed warehouse, his bow was maraculously in working order, unscathed by the collapsing building. Mattiaus said a prayer for the fallen archers, he retrieved all the arrows he could, He then proceeded to the fastest ship remaining: the Swiftrunner.

"Of course mi'lord!" She walked on in fear and anger(at the pirates) with the king and his guards, fearing the possible fall of much of Lithia's mercantile skills and personnel.
