Full Metal Alchemist.

You know which scene I'm talking about if you've read/seen it.
...Nina... :'(
I'm pretty sure he's talking about

Hughes

That one was way sadder. I've seen it 10 times and still cry every time.
My moments of near crying were:

When Hoenheim dies and you see him smiling at his wifes grave.

When Ed shouts at Hoenheim, after he offers Ed to sacrifice him to save Al.

When Ed and Al meet Winry at the end.

Grave of the Fireflies (Not when you think)

The Girl who Leaped through time (Exactly when you think)

Porco Rosso

Never cried when watching an anime. I guess the closest I got was in Gurren Lagann at the very end but that's around it.

Keep hearing a lot of Clannad in this thread, is it worth checking out? Bear in mind the shows I watch are basically either action shows (Cowboy Bebop, Soul Eater, Desert Punk) or comedic shows (Azumanga Daioh, Lucky Star, Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumaya) with Elfen Lied probably being the one exception.

its pretty good, if you like slice of lifey comedy shows then youll probably like it. its kinda like those other shows except with some sad dramatic moments. the second season changes tone dramatically though, but at that point you probably will want to keep watching just to see what will happen. p.s its really sad, so just be warned if you get emotional easilly

Rest in peace Mister 2.
I forgot about that one... BAAWWW.

So many times have I cried at One Piece.

Chopper's Origin story, Robin's Origin Story, Brooks Origin Story. The death of the Merry. Mister 2's Sacrifice. The Straw Hat's Leaving Vivi. Ussop leaving the Straw Hat's. Robin wanting to live. The death of Ace and Whitebeard...

... Yeh, I cry a lot at Anime, I'm pretty Emotional. I cried at FMA and FMA:Brotherhood.

Nina, Hughes, The bit at the end with Al(Brotherhood).

I think I've cried at every Anime I've seen.

(Promised to stop arguing/flaming elfen lied is a horrible anime, but is still surprised/disappointed it came up so many times)

I would have to say Clannad has made me cry and im only on the 13 episode, enjoying the crap out of it. Other then that.
Eureka 7 (surprised this doesn't come up more)
Cowboy Bebop
Samurai Champloo
MM! (admittedly episode 1-4 were amazing but anything after that isn't worth watching.)

Edit: oh and Azumanga Daioh

Gurren Lagann. I'm pretty sure that's the only one. A few others have come close, but I think that was the only one. Several episodes later it was still hard to believe that...he...died
,-_-.
Edit: No, I forgot that I cried when Jiraiya died in naruto.

Digimon Adventure 01 and 02. I cried at the end of 01 due to pure nostalgia. It was part of my childhood that I never finished. Now I can let it rest. I cried quite a few times near the end of 02 as well but not only for nostalgia. The backstory of Okiawa and how he visited his friend's grave with his computer was heart-breaking for me. And at the end when he doesn't make it into the DigiWorld also tore me up. Good thing he now resides in it.

Onepiece during that funeral...at least his will and mast was inherited!

Also, the movie Windaria, probably the most soul-crushing end ever.
