My guess is, the test gave her a lot of trouble, and seeing you ace it so easily set her into a rage of self defense. (She's not stupid, so you must be freakishly smart. And there's OBVIOUSLY nothing wrong with her, so...you get the idea.)

Oh this happens to me all the time, two hours ago a bunch of my friends told me to shut up because I was discussing the metric system with someone.
Honestly I wouldn't take stuff like this seriously, the people who avoid using their minds in life often end up with very poor ones. And it definitely shouldn't be something you try and cover up for, if people aren't willing to realize that intelligence is a virtue, well, fuck'em.
As Bill Gates used to say: "Be nice to nerds, you'll probably end up working for them."
Of course, I don't really know the full story. Maybe she studied her ass off for that exam and then got a lousy mark, or she was completely lazy. Either way, it's just easy to chalk it up to hormones (ah, I love blaming every stupid thing teenagers do on hormones) and shrug it off.

Jealousy is an ugly thing. My response to people who do better on a test than me is "Nice", not "Oh, you're a bastard". Let's just face it. Other people can be real assholes at times, and not the fun kind either. And of course I've had this issue with others, personally.

don't worry about it man, I just did an entire test without a calculator on the masses of
planets and Universal laws of gravity in physics 12, there were 43 questions and I got 29 haha
my calculator wasn't working so...I just winged it. Highest mark was 35/40
