So, I always see people posting threads about 'Best anime ever?' and I thought instead I'd have a series of instalments that ask you what the best fight scene, character, villain, attack, etc is. So, this week, I ask you, The Escapist community, what do you think is one of, if not the greatest fight scene in anime and why?
It can be from movies to serials, any fight scene you wish. The only real rule I will try to keep is that if it has some kind of spoiler involved, stick it in a spoiler tag. And if you have a video of it, stick it in a spoiler with a description also.
I have loads, and really this is just for the sake of it, there are probably more I hold in higher regard that are true classics, but in recent anime series nothing tops the fight scene in Naruto Shippuuden (I consider some events to be spoilers within the fight, if you are watching Naruto but haven't seen shippuuden yet, don't look just in case) simply because of the sheer scale of the fight. It was fluid and unrelenting in my eyes, and me and my friends couldn't stop watching it at the time. Not to mention that I had been following the manga for a while, and in motion it was just so much better.
P.S. Before you ask 'why is it corridor of fame?' Don't, because, well I don't know, piss poor attempt at humour and non-conformism I guess. Probably change it later.
Also, (and this is for everyone) stick a video in a spoiler tag and embed it onto the page. To embed a youtube video, type {youtube= and if you look at the url at the top for your video, all the crap after = is what you want to stick on the piece above, so its basically {youtube=CLT3EVQzd2E} only replace { with [. This thread needs more videos.
