Anime corridor of fame: Best Fight Scene

Hmmm...I am hard-pressed here. I prefer to read the manga of most series, so I don't know how epic some of my favorite battles would be animated, but I can see most of them being ridiculously awesome. For instance, Shaman King, some of the battles, if animated correctly, would be epic (Faust VIII vs. Yoh comes to mind). I don't know though, since I haven't seen the anime (or even know if there is one).

Which pissed me off because like every film except the first one, they are glorifying Ryu far too much. Thus, I hold nothing but malice for those films.SsilverR said:

I'll also post up the only fight scene I could find for Noir, an anime that I personally love, and think it's a shame no one has heard of it so far.
It's literally the first minute, you can pretty much ignore the rest of it. It's also probably the worst out of all the fight scenes, but the only one I could find.
Seems like I will really have to take a look at Claymore. I was kind of sketchy considering the manga was ongoing and all. Definitely worth watching?Artemis923 said:

Virtually every Shuffle Alliance battle from G Gundam (Domon vs. Argo Golsky, Domon vs. Sai Saichi (sp?), etc.) was an amazing fight in and of itself. But above and beyond all of those, Domon vs. Master freaking Asia. Holy crap that was an epic fight... and interspersed into it was epic dialogue.
Also, I don't have video for this one, but the Sano vs. Anji fight from Rurouni Kenshin is nothing short of breathtaking.
Master Asia explaining his master plan to wipe out all of humanity, and his reason for doing EVERYTHING he's done in the entire series, is just jaw-dropping. And his death scene afterwards is nothing short of exquisite...

Also, I don't have video for this one, but the Sano vs. Anji fight from Rurouni Kenshin is nothing short of breathtaking.
Fights that knew how to build tension and drama without having every character spew dialogue every ten seconds (in the middle of a fight anyway):
