Let it be known, people who talk in movies are annoying. They ruin the film experience for everyone, even if it's just Transformers 2, that's no excuse to be talking through the entire 3 hours about EVERY *single* DETAIL.

It's an embarrassment to the movie going public that such irritation is not stamped out, and the fact these four guys talked through the entire movie was detrimental to my film viewing experience.

What do you guys think of what I should have done about these four eejits who talked through an entire film?

I am a film buff and as such I despise the people that talk loudly in movies, that said, I talk a lot during some movies. If the film is bad, I make jokes, but I try my best to whisper to a friend and as an added precaution we always sit as far away as possible (If it is possible) from other people. As long as your comment is funny, I say talk, audience participation can be the greatest thing that can happen to an otherwise mediocre movie, but if your entire comment is to point out the obvious, or question the motives of the characters on screen and your constant blabbering becomes a distraction, then its time to shut up. I typically wait for an employee to enter the theatre and ask them to ask the person to leave. Otherwise, simply go up to them and ask them to shut up, if they won't, politely refer them to your fist. I say, if all else fails talk to management, its about all you can do. Unless you want to get banned.

God, I hate that!

Its always these stupid high school or college kids who come in with groups of about 10 people and fill up an entire row and wont stop talking about everything. I remember when I saw Drag Me To Hell (great movie BTW) but these stupid girls behind me wouldn't shut up. They would scream at things that weren't even that scary, and they screamed so goddamn loud. Then, after they got freaked out by something, they would talk about how scared they were for the next 10 minutes. My girlfriend turned around and asked nicely for them to be quite and they just looked at her and said "no" and scoffed about it.

That really pissed me off. So, when they did it again, I turned around, threw my half full bottle of diet coke at them and told them to shut the fuck up! (those words exactly) They left after that. I consider that a big win

Eat your popcorn. Whack the empty carton over the head of the offender and leave it on there. Extra points for adding some of the gum from the chair to the insides first.

I've done that to an annoying guy in front of me, minus the gum, and was defended by the staff because they had already had a complaint from another customer XD

It was highly satisfying, and I would recommend it.

I'm one of those annoying people who talk during movies, usually whispering about cracking jokes here and there. Yeah, I'm that guy. You all have the right to punch me in the face, if you ever see me. But, I always set my cell phone on vibrate. That has to count for something, right?

When you are with friends, talking about the movie while it plays is the best part of going to the cinema!

I remember during the cremation scene in Angels and Demons I quite loudly said "Throw another shrimp ohn the bahrbie Langdon!". Nobody was amused, except for me and my friend who promptly erupted into giggles.

I have experiences like that a lot.

When I went to see Cloverfield, practically everytime something bad would happen somebody would stand up and yell out something. When it got to the scene where they are in the tunnel and the night vision on the camera reveals the rats running away, I heard "Run wit da rats n***a! Run wit da rats!".

And the scene where the lady gets bit, some person yelled out "Leave her ***** ass be-hine. She gonna kill you!"

And later when the same lady exploded, some woman behind me said "One less stanky-ass white ho". It was enough to make me look back and ask her "Could you please see who your sitting around before you make comments like that."

Shit like that happened all throughout the movie. Michel and I ended up asking the manager for a refund as the ushers were absent. We got our money back and went to a theater in a better neighborhood.

Its annoying but theatres where I live tend to have alot of empty seats so I just get up and move if the staff complain I point out the immense amount of gum under the seats that STILL has yet to be removed after the last time I pointed it out every stinkin seat.

But sometimes Im that guy especially at bad films but I consider annoying the kind of people that would actualy enjoy Meet the Spartans a public service.

He turned around, and said: "What the hell did you do that for?!"

I said: "Because you were talking inanely to the person next to you, during a film I was attempting to enjoy. Therefore, I kicked you in the head."
