"Do a barrel roll!"

*does not do a barrel role*

"Do a barrel role!"

*does nothing once again*

"Do a barrel role!"

*Alright, fine, as long as you will shut up!*

"Do another barrel role!"

There is no middle finger that can display my contempt for you.
I quite like the way the spelling of roll changed in your post after the first one...

OT: I'm gonna have to agree with everyone who has said "Patrolling the Mojave almost makes you wish for a nuclear winter" and "STOP RIGHT THERE CRIMINAL SCUM!"

The cake is a lie.
Every time I hear somebody say it I go blind with rage
As far as I know, it's a reference, not a quote.

1. "It's over" "No, it's only just beginning."
2. "Do a barrel roll."
3. "Hey! Listen! Hey! Listen! Hey! Listen! Hey! Listen! Hey! Listen!"

Gods, yes. There was one side of the maze, that if you ended up in it, was all dead ends, so that is all you heard, over and over and over again. And this was before a lot of people had internet, so if you got stuck, you were toast- you either worked it out yourself, or gave up in frustration. Still, 7th Guest was the first game that really freaked me out. You didn't want to be stuck in that maze at 2 in the morning, because you'd jump out of your skin when Stauf unleashed that "Feeling... LONELY?" line.

And some of the sequences with the other guests at the mansion were truly creepy, like the one with the old lady wanting to be young again, and she ends up turning into a baby. Or Mr. Knox and his lover, his head turning into a goat, and the woman losing her skin. And the white ghost in the corridor... it had some really freaky stuff in it.
I only managed to find my way out of that maze through blind luck and a strange little self-taught technique I learned, which applies for all mazes. By always touching the left hand side of a maze, you can always find your way out - it'd take you forever to get out - but it will work eventually.

But I know what you mean by Stauf's voice freaking you out come 2am. Though the music room right kind of freaked me out a little bit, too. While the stabbing was a bit Narmy by today's standards, there was something strangely freaky about seeing it in a game at the time.
The thing that really freaked me out, well, two of them... there's a scene in the bathroom where the female lover is taking a bath and the water turns to blood and she get sucked down the drain, and the picture at the top of the stairs... you click it, and these handprints strain to push out of the painting... no music or sound, but it's just creepy... Oh, and one of the attic rooms, there's this scene with a baby with a Stauf doll in the crib next to it, and the doll comes to life and strangles the baby, and it has this EVIL look on its face while it's doing so.

It's funny, because at the time, this game was the most amazing thing. Acting stylized, but at the same time effective, but you go back and look at it today, and you're just like, "Man, this has the crappiest acting *ever*."

Baldur's Gate:

"You must gather your party before venturing forth"
Speaking of Baldur's Gate... "You have been waylaid by enemies and must defend yourselves..." Which seemed to happen just about every time you travelled between zones/areas.

I also have nightmares of the Sirens in one of the BG1's areas. They could insta-charm the entire party. The best way to deal with it was to send in Minsc, have him go Berserk and wail on their butts. They had some nice treasure, too. After they focussed on Minsc (who can't be charmed when he's berserking), My archers (all of the party had missile weapons) would cut them down like ripe wheat.

And those "tired" soundbites! Jaheira- "I've seen just about enough waking hours, slavedriver!" Khalid- "We should stop and, uh, rest!" Imoen: "Uh-aaah. Gettin' a little sleeeepy." :p

CoD MW2- the American sergeant who says "We still have our guns so we can still kick some ass"
That line made me cringe.

"My right arm is a lot stronger than my left arm" - Tryndamere

Prince of Persia
"CAREFUL! THINK AHEAD!"

Also, anything said by human enemies in combat during Mass Effect 1
"Enemies everywhere! You must die!" etc. ad nauseum.

FOR THE EMPARAHHHH!!!!
SAPCE MARINE
DAWN OF WAR you son of a ***** they constanly come my head when i am asked this question.
"FEAR ME, BUT FOLLOW!!!!!" Oh yes, good times with the Imperial Guard and Dawn of War

But the winner has to be "New Troll Here" from Warcraft II, which for some reason because of the dodgy accent, I always thought sounded more like "Nu-trul-heep"

Or may it's the Chinese construction dozers who must enjoy practising vaginoplasty in their spare time, because they always sound like they are saying "I build vagina" rather than "I build for China." People might want to make sure those accents aren't so thick in future... :D
Lets not forget

"WE LOST BECAUSE YOU WE'RE ALL WEAK!!!!!!"

My favorite though.

"IF YOU WILL NOT SERVE ON THE FRONTLINES YOU WILL SERVE ON THE FIRING LINE!!!!!"

If they make another Space Marine type game I want to play as a Commissar. They have the most awesome hats ever.

"I can fight as long as I survive"

Which, depending on how many times I hear it is greeted with ether laughter or me exclaiming "No shit? I can breath as long as I have lungs!"
