I quite like the way the spelling of roll changed in your post after the first one...the spud said:"Do a barrel roll!"
*does not do a barrel role*
"Do a barrel role!"
*does nothing once again*
"Do a barrel role!"
*Alright, fine, as long as you will shut up!*
"Do another barrel role!"
There is no middle finger that can display my contempt for you.
As far as I know, it's a reference, not a quote.Mustang678 said:The cake is a lie.
Every time I hear somebody say it I go blind with rage
The thing that really freaked me out, well, two of them... there's a scene in the bathroom where the female lover is taking a bath and the water turns to blood and she get sucked down the drain, and the picture at the top of the stairs... you click it, and these handprints strain to push out of the painting... no music or sound, but it's just creepy... Oh, and one of the attic rooms, there's this scene with a baby with a Stauf doll in the crib next to it, and the doll comes to life and strangles the baby, and it has this EVIL look on its face while it's doing so.Gunner 51 said:I only managed to find my way out of that maze through blind luck and a strange little self-taught technique I learned, which applies for all mazes. By always touching the left hand side of a maze, you can always find your way out - it'd take you forever to get out - but it will work eventually.LadyRhian said:Gods, yes. There was one side of the maze, that if you ended up in it, was all dead ends, so that is all you heard, over and over and over again. And this was before a lot of people had internet, so if you got stuck, you were toast- you either worked it out yourself, or gave up in frustration. Still, 7th Guest was the first game that really freaked me out. You didn't want to be stuck in that maze at 2 in the morning, because you'd jump out of your skin when Stauf unleashed that "Feeling... LONELY?" line.
And some of the sequences with the other guests at the mansion were truly creepy, like the one with the old lady wanting to be young again, and she ends up turning into a baby. Or Mr. Knox and his lover, his head turning into a goat, and the woman losing her skin. And the white ghost in the corridor... it had some really freaky stuff in it.
But I know what you mean by Stauf's voice freaking you out come 2am. Though the music room right kind of freaked me out a little bit, too. While the stabbing was a bit Narmy by today's standards, there was something strangely freaky about seeing it in a game at the time.
Speaking of Baldur's Gate... "You have been waylaid by enemies and must defend yourselves..." Which seemed to happen just about every time you travelled between zones/areas.uzo said:Baldur's Gate:

SAPCE MARINE
DAWN OF WAR you son of a ***** they constanly come my head when i am asked this question.
But the winner has to be "New Troll Here" from Warcraft II, which for some reason because of the dodgy accent, I always thought sounded more like "Nu-trul-heep"
Or may it's the Chinese construction dozers who must enjoy practising vaginoplasty in their spare time, because they always sound like they are saying "I build vagina" rather than "I build for China." People might want to make sure those accents aren't so thick in future...![]()
