I understand liking V for Vendetta but is that a good enough reason to due every plan you have in the works on the same day, seems like your gonna stretch yourself thin all for the cause of movie fandom.

It's not about V for Vendetta. November 5th is the day Guy Fawkes(actual one) was captured and the Gunpowder Plot failed. V for Vendetta only potentially taught them about it (I know someone who used to be in Anonymous, and already knew about Guy Fawkes).

Anon don't do everything over the internet. they protest Scientology in person, and what's to stop them buying firearms or making IEDs (5th of november, fireworks for sale) or improvised explosives launchers. and who says there arent ex-military members of Anon? and the NA govt's are restricted by the law. generally, people who are at least accessories to a group of felons don't give many fucks about the law.

Exactly. Doing internet attacks has a limit to how effective it can be, but as people we can change stuff. Anon COULD make significant differences if, as an entity, it went beyond the internet and the DDoS attacks and started doing public things, representing the same people it represents now, only with a wider audience and a louder voice.

And what do you propose they can do by protesting against a group that murders innocent people, just to prove that nobody is safe? The Mexican government is at war with the cartels; they're not hiding their activities and awareness doesn't need to be raised. Anybody who can do anything against them is trying to do so, and all a protest will achieve is a pile of bodies.

There are indirect solutions. Consider narcotic legalisation. When prohibition was abolished in 1930's USA, almost all Mafia organisations dissolved, some went into narcotics, and others legitimised. The Kennedy family were once an Irish gang.
If Narc is legalised, the Cartels have no product.

How about FREEZING their accounts? That will end EVERY DRUG ORGANIZATION

Drug money has to be laundered most of the time, and every deposit into a single account of over $5000 or so gets reported and investigated, so Cartels will have thousands and thousands of different accounts to freeze. It would work, but it'd be a Herculean task.

Because people listen to people they can see and hear. You don't hear Anon announcements or publications if you don't choose to watch them. That's the nature of the internet. If you're out on the street, though, then people have to listen. Just look at Occupy Wall Street. That's everywhere now, and it can't be ignored.

For one, they would have fucking done something by now.

For two, scientologists are a bunch of rich people who would never even look at us proletariats for fear of catching the poor, Los Zetas have an army, an actual army, trained in the use of military weapons and tactics.

For three, I doubt many members of Anon live in Mexico, those that do probably aren't about to go toe to toe with Los Zetas or any other Cartels without help from other Anon members with leads to point four:

You don't just smuggle guns and explosives across borders in North America. The Mexican/American border is almost impossible to get through without getting detected.

For five, for every member of Anon that is an ex-military badass there are probably 100 who don't know how to fight.

Los Zetas are made up of ruthless career criminals and ex-special forces from the Mexican military, they drive around the streets openly brandishing guns and not giving a fuck, they burn people alive in steel drums while throwing lead into said drum turning an innocent person into a soup of molten lead and body parts, they kidnap American citizens who come across the border without fear, the Mexican and American Governments together can't get rid of them, they train new members to use military weaponry and tactics, they make billions of dollars selling drugs, they turn children into cold blooded murderers.
