I doubt that's the case here. It's been done lots of times now.Caramel Frappe said:..Oh they're in for it now. I mean, you can only go so far before karma bites you in the butt.. or in this case- Iran mows off your butt because of hacking their internet.
I hear canada is lovely this time of year....triggrhappy94 said:Someone's going to declare them a terrorist orginazation, and invade America trying to hunt them down.

Wars are probably going to be fought on the internet in a while.
Just shutting down domains and seizing assets.
But seriously, it's pretty much just chaos at the minute. I'm gonna take bets on how long it takes for someone to start really censoring the net. Anon are probably going to have the exact opposite effect that they want.
Why America?triggrhappy94 said:Someone's going to declare them a terrorist orginazation, and invade America trying to hunt them down.
I hate to be the one to pop your balloons... but Iran isn't really a legitimate target. Excluding Isreal, they're probably the most peacefull, not to mention Western (culturally) of the Middle Eastern countries.NinjaDeathSlap said:Someone actually used their skill with hacking for good and attacked a legitimate target? DEPLOY THE PARTY BALLOONS!
And not all terrorist are from Iraq and Afganastan, but look how that turned out.Feralcentaur said:Why America?triggrhappy94 said:Someone's going to declare them a terrorist orginazation, and invade America trying to hunt them down.
Last I checked, not everyone who considered themselves Anonymous was American.
You might as well invade any other country with internet connection.
Silly!
You do know, people also consider attacking Anonymous to be "sticking your dick in a hornets nest" thanks to Colbert?TitanAtlas said:Nice of them to kick a hornets nest...
Touche, but America's a developed military super power with mostly Caucasian Christian people living in it, Iraq and Afganistan are not.triggrhappy94 said:I hate to be the one to pop your balloons... but Iran isn't really a legitimate target. You're probably thinking of Iraq.

Right? What if they don't know about Anonymous over there and this is taken as America being hostile?Saviordd1 said:Im waiting for world war 3 thanks to the internet based shit going on nowadays
How can Iran see Anonymous's attack as an attack from the US? Nobody knows where their members are from, but I doubt they all meet in a warehouse in Washington DC. I'd bet that a good amount of their members are european or asian as well as american. Who knows?Liudeius said:Why are people saying Anonymous is doing the right thing and LulzSec should be stopped? Iran is still an enemy of the US and they have nuclear capability, they will take Anonymous' attack as an attack from the US.
LulzSec on the other hand only showed the (terroristic) corruption of Infragard and a not-very-well-kept secret about manipulating Lybian internet infrastructure, something that should be assumed is being done anyway.
Edit: Well people aren't supporting Anon here, but on the LulzSec thread they are.
