I'm pretty sure they have internet access "over there." The greatest danger to us is our fundamental lack of understanding regarding our enemies. Iranians don't live in a vacuum any more than they live in caves. Also, English is the most widely spoken language on the planet in addition to being the international business language, so I'm not sure why, if they don't know what Anonymous is, they would assume that they are American.

First off English is not the most widely spoken language in the world. Chinese and Spanish speakers both outnumber English speakers. But you are right, the it is the international business language due to the immense wealth of countries that have it as their official language and the history of colonialism. (Although it is now very popular for business majors to learn Mandarin, and since the 1980's Japanese.)

Second off you are correct that Iran does not live in a vaccuum and will surely end up blaming either the west or Israel for this information theft. But those who keep up with the news realizes Anonymous is not a purely American phenomenon. They are commonly attributed as a result of Chinese hacktivists, and have done deeds across the world.

Wellllllll, Iran is best known for it's gross breakage of freedom of speech, and Anonymous hates that, with a burning passion.

Hell, I can't name one person I known (who is informed) who doesn't hate Iran.
