That would be Alan Moore mister Tito. Not Frank Miller. At least Moore never went insane and tried to make a shitty sequel to his magnum opus.
No, he went insane and wrote some kind of erotic fanfiction about 13 year old girls from fairytales.
Yeah, humans definitely don't have any erotic experiences until they're 18. Moore is a weird pervert and his work should be totally disregarded because he ever suggested otherwise.
...did you just defend child porn? You're defending child porn. You also pretty much just said "don't act like kids aren't unbelievably sexy", which only makes it creepier.
in his defense, its artwork of fictional characters haveing sexual acts, not actual child porn.
Well, if they're drawings of underage people, it actually is counted as child porn.
I never understood that. Child porn is illegal cause its abusive/exploiting children, but a cartoon drawing isn't a child. When someone makes/watches cartoon porn of kids, yes its really weird, but no child is being harmed.
It's like stealing something that doesn't exist, or murdering an imaginary person.

Maybe its just part of the law to discourage those kind of thoughts about children in the first place.

Hey Anonymous.. one thing at a time...

Most of us are still waiting for you to take down the NEW YORK STOCK EXCHANGE, which you were supposed to do what? Two weeks ago now? How did that work out for you?

Either they wimped out or couldn't pull it off and quite frankly I think what we are seeing is the death of anonymous. I'm sure they'll still be around to annoy less savvy companies that lack the resources to adequately hire IT security capable of preventing attacks. But as for major companies, after what happened to Sony and Visa, anti-hacker precautions got ramped up, backed by massive funding that I doubt anonymous can match, hiring the BEST they can to invent new and innovative ways to provide security for their servers and infrastructure. The problem with Anonymous is they've become a one trick pony. Other than exploiting human errors and resources (i.e. working class fools who get lax in who they send and accept emails from) DDOS attacks are getting to the point that they can be efficiently dealt with and even defended against. Add to that the government's renewed interest in starting a new "war on something" (the new buzz word is CYBER crime), means that more and more raids are happening and the threat that the Feds could come kicking in your door and ruining your hot pocket dinner is becoming a MUCH better deterrent from people even bothering becoming involved.

So yeah, attack Fox News. Not that I have any sympathy for them, but in the end, to their viewers (of which I suspect there are a great deal more than they would like to admit) it's just going to come off as Anonymous infringing on FOX's RIGHT to free speech, which ironically is every bit as fascist as they accuse Fox of being.

I think their moment in the sun is over. Anonymous will soon live quite fully up to its name when in another 3 or so years people have forgotten they ever even existed.

That's great! I hope they come through.

Oh and by the way Anonymous, I love you, but tone down the melodramatics a bit if you want to be taken seriously by more people.

EDIT: Ok. Guys? Quit insulting the protesters. Most of you have no idea what you are talking about and the ones that do seem to have no grasp on the rest of the situation. Just stop slinging your shit to make yourselves feel high and mighty.

That's somethign I don't understand. If you're a kid on the playground and you get called bad names or teased so you respond by punching the other kid in defense. It's considered sticking up for yourself. Yet When Anon wants to try to stop a big name corporate news group from slander and vicious conservative attacks based on very poor research, it's considered messing with free speech.

What next? Should African Americans not get pissed if a white guy says the N word becuase he has every right in free speech to say it?

what a massive piece of ego masturbation. I respect what they should be doing wholeheartedly but can't help thinking why wont they get on with doing something of more consequence rather than fannying about taking down websites for an hour or two. We need someone that's not affraid of action, to pick up the torch were the punks of the 1980's set it down. Or we could stop being such a gelatinous pathetic excuse of a species and nuke ourselves into oblivion, which in hindsight is the better option. Now if you'll excuse me i'll crawl back into my shell as soon as i finish dry heaving.

Look at it this way, Fox. Now you have reason to start securing those servers in hopes of protecting them from Anonymous.

But wait, if you hire on new IT help, doesn't that make Anonymous a "job creator?" Or do you need to be one of those 1%'ers? I guess we'll find out.
Probably Anon is just a bunch of IT security experts trying to get firms paranoid enough to tighten security and hire new staff. So that the guys from Anon get more job offers and a decent wage for a change...
I dunno, I think Anonymous isn't anything more than what it appears - a group dedicated to raising mischief, for good or ill.

And then we forget about all the crap Fox feeds to the general population, they do more slander and bending of the truth then anyone else. We also forget the good Anonymous does outside of this hacking, google it, you might find out some interesting stuff.

I like how the part where it says that what they are doing is bad so they're going to do the exact same thing in order to show them.

I'll believe it when i see it. Anyone can masquerade as part of a group founded on anonymity so I only believe results not what anyone representing such a group says.

Two way street...

So Fox News then has the right to take on and attack anyone who makes negative statements about them? Some of the wall street protesters have done so, with signs and such. Look at the internet, we attack Fox News all the time. We belittle them, nobody takes them seriously, and in this very thread alone there have been numerous unsupported attacks on their company. People say that Fox News "spews lies, etc" but they don't provide examples and often times forget that NOTHING is straight black and white.. there are different perspectives depending on what side of the fence you are on. To use your example, yes, us black people get mad if a white guy says the N word, but what if an African American calls a white person a name or accuses them of being racist unfairly? It happens every day. What about when us blacks (African Americans is a stupid term because I'm not African and what about white people from Africa aren't they African Americans too?) when we use the N word against each other or call other blacks Uncle Toms? Hell what about when white people do it, like when Janine Garofolo made those statements about that black republican running for President Herman Cain being a sell out?

That's the thing about slander and libel... they only become offenses when they do someone damage. If we all started crying foul every time someone said an unkind word NOBODY would be allowed to say ANYTHING. Fair is fair... if Fox News can't call protesters "filthy or dirty" (of which from what I've seen on youtube isn't exactly a lie, more like an unfair generalization) then you and anonymous can't call Fox News liars and frauds in their news. Both are insults.

AN eye for an eye makes the whole world blind.

If you respond to an insult with a punch in the face, then you are responding with excessive force.

If you respond to insults to your endeavor not with a refutation of their claims or a clarification of your argument but by forcefully silencing your tormentors, again you are responding with excessive force.

Combat words with words, not force.

Has any anoynmous person/group/collective/hive-mind ever actually followed through with one of their plans? They ***** and moan and then nothing ever happens. Everything is fixed the next day and the world keeps spinning. I reckon they're afraid of consequences so they wont do anything too rash or serious.

Also the hypocrisy of Anonymous and Guy Fawkes is delicious :)

To be honest, in the end as much as I support Anon to do this, it'll mean nothing in the long run.

Fox News will still be on for years to come, still considered the most popular news show in America and continue to give the same biased, hypocritical and poorly researched "news" as they always have.

It's times like this I'm surprised people don't just blow their own brains out over how effed up the world is.

Because, and here's the kicker, LIFE.. is what YOU make of it.

At the end of the day, we can blame corporations.. we can blame governments.. we can blame republicans.. we can blame democrats.. we can blame our parents, our teachers, the man, the system, hollywood, God, the lack of God.. whatever you want.

But it's all a falsehood. The reality, the truth at the bottom of everything, is that YOU are the only thing that limits YOU. If you want something bad enough, if you really want to be something MORE, then you rise UP through the crap and the muck and the obstacles and you don't ever stop. You don't let anyone stop you, you don't beg for help, you don't DEMAND assistance. You either get it done or you DON'T based on your OWN ability and desire to accomplish something.

We all can point fingers and blame anyone we want to make ourselves feel better, but we only do so because we know deep down that the only finger we should really be pointing is back at ourselves. There is no fate save that..

this is awesome! fox news is the worst, but then, im just sick of being force fed American culture. if someone or a group of someone's can derail the yanky propaganda machine for even a few hours, i call that a win.

kinda of reminds me of Death Note a little, such a public challenge. and the use of the guy fawkes symbolism only makes it better. good luck Anonymous!

You don't actually have any idea what you're talking about do you? Try actually reading Lost Girls and being more aware of what an author writes next time you want to dismiss one like that.

All I know about Lost Girls is from when Linkara talked about it in one of his videos. He said that Alan Moore was quoted as wanting to make "Artistic Porn." Noble goal, but the usage of underage girls still seems icky for me.
