I live in Texas. Speak English. That's all.

Took Spanish classes for three years, though.

Didn't stick.

Russian as a first language, English as the second.

Although I'm starting to forget some of the former, and I'm probably way out of touch with modern Russian slang...

I'm fluent in Dutch, and I would dare say I'm fluent in English as well. Because I'm Dutch, I learn German and French at school, so I can have a conversation in both if need be. I also have Latin and (ancient)Greek lessons, though neither of those are supposed to be spoken, so I can't say I speak either.

It's quite funny. I'm Swedish, but I think I know my second language, English, better.

Thank you, television. Thank you, games... And lastly, thank you, school. School didn't help me shit. I had to learn myself, and good I got.
Now I get the highest grades in English without giving it a real try.
Same here. Exactly the same even, except that I speak Dutch.

Fluent in Spanish and English.

I'm actually better at English, but that's because I moved from my spanish-speaking country at age 5 to the english-speaking USA.

Romanian - native, I don't dislike it but its not my favorite either

English - probably my favorite and I also am more or less as good at it as I am at my native language

Italian - Not very good but I can hold an ok..ish conversation, I've only been learning it for about a year so I have a lot to learn yet ( especially since its not my cup of tea, none of the latin languages are really .. which is funny since my own is latin based as well )

French - I vaguely remember one or two dozen words, learned it for 4 years in school but then for 8 years since then I've yet to actually speak it once, so naturally I forgot most of what I knew

Want to learn Japanese since it is different then most and yet surprisingly familiar, actually started learning it about 1-2 years ago but kinda had to give up since I had other stuff on my mind and occupying my time at that point.
Almost the same here.
Romanian native language, English preferred, also German, French and Italian, but far less often, tried Japanese yet it just wouldn't stick so kind of gave up on trying.

I speak a little french, a little Spanish, a little Italian. To be honest I don't like any of them.

I'm currently learning Japanese an I'm trying to become fluent. Japanese is an epic language!
Been watching a good bit of anime have we?
No I'm actually learning. Ohayoo Gozaimasu! Ogenki desu ka?

Although I do watch anime.
Fluent in Japanese, second language that I learned alongside English.

Btw, are you trying to learn Kanji as well? Or just grasp the basic oral linguistics of it.

Kanji wo zembu oboerunoha totemo taihen na shigoto desu yo!

Learning Japanese in school, but I'm not fluent. Still need to learn one more "character set" if you want to call it that and how to speak in complete sentences.

I'm working on memorizing words and sentences until it makes more sense and I being to grasp the pronunciation and sentence structure. Then I'll begin kanji. I'd say I'm about half way there, but I always like to over compensate.

I'm learning without a teacher so any advice you could give me would be great.
