Well english is my primary language. My parents taught me at least conversational German and Italian along side English as they are both immigrants. So I WAS trilingual until I started public school and they tried putting me into ESL. So I had German and Italian beaten out of me basically. All I can do now is swear in Italian and say like 5 words in German. Trying to work on a Spanish minor right now.

Native English and moderate German. Be fun to live there and finally be able to be fluent.

My German's perfect cos it's my first language. According to my ex-boyfriend my English is perfect too but I doubt it. I used to be pretty good in Italian but I haven't spoken it for ages and forgot the majority of it. I also have very basic knowledge of French, I can understand quite a few sentences if I read them, but speaking it myself is nearly impossible.

There are still 2 languages I'd love to master before dying, Russian and Japanese. I can count to 100 in Russian because I've learned the numbers by heart and I know a few Japanese words but I still have a long way to go!

I speak Swedish, English, some German and really crappy Finnish. At the moment I'm learning German, but as soon as I'm done with that I'm going to improve my Finnish.

Japanese is my second language. Wish I knew it to a business level but for now, it's just conversational. Still mess up grammar for some reason...

I speak fluent English, of course, as well as Cantonese and Chinese. I can speak a fair bit of French, and I studied two years of Japanese and a year of German. I can't remember any German at all, except maybe how to say 'chocolate frog' and I can only remember a bit of Japanese since I watch anime. I'm looking to learn Finnish now, except I can't be bothered.

Well, my first language in Portuguese, I'm pretty good at English, I can speak some Spanish and I know enough French to say "Je ne parle pas Français". And that's pretty much it.

I know English as a first language, and I've taken two years of Spanish in school. Next year I'm taking German, and depending on how well that goes I may attempt to actually learn the language.

English is first
Spanish was second
German was third (weakest out of all now)
Japanese is now fourth (still learning, probably the coolest out of any of them) (it also seems to be the most logical)

Fully fluent in both Enlgish and French. My written french is somewhat stale due to disuse. Also trying to learn Russian some time in the future.

Wow, I didn't thought so many people can speak german! That's awesome ^^
I am german, so of course german is my first language. I was in a bilingual class, so my english should be quite good. I also have french in school, but, well... let's just say I ain't ordering no croissants! ;D

But you know what is frustrating? I can analyse Brave New World until my eyeballs fall out with so damn many terms that no one in my class can understand me except for the teacher, yet... I can't even order myself some food. We never really learned all that everyday-stuff. Fruits, okay, vegetables, maybe, but if I had to say what I like to eat and what causes me to vomit, I'd be screwed.
