Any forgotten or obscure games that would make great reboots or sequels for this gen.

i'd really like to see a spiritual successor to Phantom Dust, same gameplay, but a new story.
Also this old game on the DOS computer called Strife would be great.
oh yeah, and a new Tribes game :D

Hmm, nox, but it wasn't a console game, but i'd love a remake or sequel, god that was my childhood game, umm, Dark Alliance, champions of norrath, those are just some favorites i had growing up that i'd like to see, partially for nostalgia, partially cause they were just good games

Mischief Makers!

It was the first game I ever owned for the Nintendo 64 and it was awesome if not a little odd, it'd be great if it was rebooted :D

Whiplash.

That was a ridiculous game but an amazing one back in 2002, I think.
It had dark humour, rabbit being used as a hammer by a weasel and was just amazing fun, unlike some games today which are just fun.

There was an old RTS game I used to play Preatorians. I was like Rome total war with out all of the non battle stuff like building cities and it was a lot smaller scale and simpler.

It was very good. It gave you three different types of people to use (Romans/Barbarians/Egyptians) which all had advantages and disadvantages.

The Barbarians were the long time to train but hit like a truck units
The Egyptians were the weak but train in masses units
The romans were the middle ground between the two.

All of the classes had different units that had special abilities which made playing them very unique and fun.

I'd love to see this game done again, mainly because it is one of my favourite games and I love RTS, especially the ones set in Roman times and I haven't seen a Roman based RTS in a long while.

Despite Red Faction: Guerilla. The series is not related to the original in any way anymore. Which is a shame.

So my answer is Red Faction 1

The Toca Race Driver series, the Stuntman series and a lot of other racing games.
Oh, and, of course, Age Of Empires. Not obscure, but, hey, I fucking want it back.

Chrono Trigger. The best game ever, 'cause it has everything that's awesome except for pirates and ninjas.

As I always say, GUNSTAR HEROES.
And as I always say, want very much. Ever played the GBA sequel?

OT: Another game that should be rebooted is Lego Racers, but that literally is just me.

Half the games you have listed here have had next gen remakes. I own Stuntman myself, and TOCA 3 is pretty recent.

OT: would love to see Gunstar Heroes rebooted, Dizzy games and following suit with Monkey Island would love to see sme HD remakes of some point and clicks, particularly Grim Fandango, Full Throttle and the "Giger" inspired one (can't recall the name)
