personally id say the resident evil series of movies

Silent Hill was an excellent movie. Not even really a traditional horror movie, but it was all just so disturbing and...fascinating. You really can tell that for the monsters, they eschewed CGI in favor of fantastic costumes. Excellent movie

Also, the Prince of Persia movie was a mindless family action flick, but it succeeded in being that. Also, Super Mario Brothers. I know it was a terrible movie, but its a terrible movie in a way that's just so enjoyable.

::Edit:: whoops, I forgot the Final Fantasy Movies. Both Spirits Within and Advents Children.

Well, they are not based on Games, but "Press Start" and "Stay Alive" are pretty awesome Video Game themed Movies.

Prince of Persia was entertaining.

No it wasn't amazing, and I doubt it'll ever make anyone's top 100 movies ever, but I wasn't bored watching it.

Yeah, that movie was pretty sweet, though it had a lot of mixed messages. It kept telling me to take a break where they said I should smoke, and then they told me immediately thereafter I should not smoke. But the parts where you pushed buttons were pretty cool.

This: I must have watched it a dozen times when it was released and still watch it periodically. I need to pick this up on Blu Ray now that I think about it...

Other than that...the original Mortal Kombat was fun. Granted, I was a kid at the time about 8 or so.

And I liked the first Tomb Raider.

I haven't seen the Resident Evil films, but I've heard they are decent.
