Personally I thought the first Mortal Kombat movie was a good one as well as Silent Hill.

In the case of Mortal Kombat its often brought down because of its sequel which was pretty bad but as a stand alone film I thought it was a faithful adaptation that was true to its source material.

Silent Hill could have just been Silent Hill 5 but more interesting to me it has a very Promethean: The created feel to it

As do I. It got a very poor reception, but I found it enjoyable and personally disagree with the majority of the complaints about it.

Jumping on the Silent Hill bandwagon, even if it did take alot of liberties and took characters out of their proper context.

Oh, yeah, TGWTG review of Alone in The Dark. The only good to come out of "The Ruiner" Boll's delusions that he can make movies. Spoony, NC AND Linkara (and Bhargav) in one place? Sign me up.

I actually enjoyed the first tomb raider film allot... then again I guess I was around 12 years old or sumthing.

Anyways I also like the resident evil series, especially the last one in 3D. Its a cheesy mindless action flick but atleast its a good one.

In my opinion that is.

Just to be different i'll say Dead or Alive. I haven't seen it though :(

Actually I liked the first pokemon movie when it came out... I was like 8 or something I guess, but that was fun.

Final Fantasy: Advent children, if that counts. I personally liked it a lot.
I really like that too, I also kinda like Resident Evil: Degeneration
I just rented that from Netflix but every time I try watching it I fall asleep. Even in the middle of the day. I dig the live action ones but this just doesn't do it for me.

SF2 the anime movie rocked and I have to admit that Postal made me laugh.

And Crank 2 was great... that was based on GTA right?

Gamer was pretty good for what it was and what I expected from it (I know, not based of a game, but I count it. its where I would like gaming to go, you know... without the evil).

The Prince of Persia movie was really good, and I have a movie poster for it.

Teh first resident evil was... alright. And that one they just released in 3D. I'm hoping they get it right with the next one and just make RE 4 a movie.

MOOOORTAAALLL KOOOMBAAAATT!!!

Ahem, sorry... I love the movie.

I also have a soft spot for the Mario movie, I don't care what you think, I'm not judging you so bah. It's a decent adventure with a surreal realistic version of the games (not to mention mock potential through the roof) and there will never be a movie like it ever again.

I actually enjoyed the silent hill movie even if certain things didn't make sense (like the fact pyramid head was in the movie at all). The first and I believe third resident evil movie are okay as well. Other than that, I got nothing.

I still think Silent Hill is a pretty decent horror movie. Great effects and costumes.

Also, the first Tomb Raider movie and the first Resident Evil aren't bad. The later Resident Evils are also great for some mindless zombie killin, but they aren't good movies by a long shot.

The 2 FF movies are ok. Spirits Within is actually pretty good, but its so tangentially connected to FF that its a little hard to call it a game movie. Advent Children is kind of a mess story-wise, but its DAMN pretty so it gets a pass.

Doom wasn't bad. Not great, but a good popcorn flick. Plus, the part at the end where it emulates the FPS style of the games was kinda clever.

And to be honest, the first Mortal Kombat movie. Its not good, not even close, but its got decent fight scenes and actually is pretty close to what I'd expect a MK movie to be (i.e. they got most of the characters right, and all the focus is on the fighting).

I loved the Silent Hill movie to death. But I may be partial as I live where it was filmed and got to see some filming, I even actually lived IN two of the buildings shown in the movie at different points. (The one with the big MT Rooms sign, my best friend's parents owned that store and it had a little apt in the back that I stayed in for a little while, and then another apartment on the second level that was shown on the same street with another friend at a different point) So yea, it was pretty cool. Also it was fairly close to a number of different aspects of the games while not trying to completely be any one of the games, so it was neat.

Also the newest Resident Evil was awesome just for the pure amount of fan service in the monster design and even some of the fight scenes.

ETA cuz I just thought of it. The Professor Layton movie, prolly the best and truest video game adaptation movie I've ever seen

I really liked the silent hill movie until i played silent hill the game. now i just rant about the shameless continuity errors and pyramid head fanservice appearances.
