Like Minecraft with deadly zombies?kettlefirer said:My one is a big zombie game MMORPG or co-operative zombie survival, but not like Left 4 Dead's linear, easy shooter feel. Possibly character leveling and perks, not sure if it would work though.
Well apart from witches and tanks.
My idea is in the day you can do out freely and look for weapons and survivors etc. find a new place to hold up. At night zombies attack and you have to survive and keep playing. Possibly character leveling and perks, not sure if it would work though.
Thoughts on this idea, would like to hear any other ideas too.
Take that and make it an MMO,you've got me sold!chromewarriorXIII said:I've always want a sort of live battle Pokemon game, like you see in the show. Where you actually control the Pokemon and run around the battlefield. Keep all the elements from the turn-based games except rather than Speed deciding who attacks first, it's just how fast you move.
Other than that it'd be the same, with the overworld and such.
Well, if you ever go back to it, it's "handgun 9mm." for the starting pistol (And other pistols you get at the start of the game). You don't have to buy it, since it litters the streets with every step/turn you take.kettlefirer said:I couldn't figure out what ammo to buy for my pistol D: and i spent most of the early game searching everythingdylanmc12 said:Yes. And I have to agree with you about it being "over-the-top."
I was shooting at the people for shits and giggles, you'd be suprised how angry people get on a game where you can't damage when you just fire.dylanmc12 said:Well, if you ever go back to it, it's "handgun 9mm." for the starting pistol (And other pistols you get at the start of the game). As for me,get a game centered solely around creation.G-mod and minecraft are two examples that people love. Why not make more? That's why I can't stand the hate fortresscraft gets. There should be a whole genre just for that like if Spore turned out well

so like fallout 3/new vegas?A Username Not In Use said:The FPSRGP. I liked the idea of Boarderlands but due to its limited story and sparten setting I found it very dull which disapointed me greatly. What I would like is for someone to make a much more in depth RGP game with support characters who could be used in multiplayer based on the Boarderlands engine.
Yeah, but if we aren't getting it on 360,and I have as crappy a laptop as I do,how else am I gonna get in?Just the proposition of game design in a game has always scored points for me.Its probably why I love the forge mode in Halo so much. The only real down side is the simplicity factor that comes with designing something like that.An entire first person game where you control what you're people do and they have their own will to shape history would be amazing!kettlefirer said:Psycho Cat Industries said:Like Minecraft with deadly zombies?kettlefirer said:My one is a big zombie game MMORPG or co-operative zombie survival, but not like Left 4 Dead's linear, easy shooter feel. Yeah in a waybut realism graphics and an actual struggle to survive.
I think people don't like fortresscraft partially due to it being a rip of Minecraft almost completely. I like it myself. I loved Spore also.
Very true, I agree, I have nothing against someone trying to bring in Minecraft to Xbox in a different way to almost open up a market. Shame the indie games don't seem to get enough coverage. That would be awesome for an RTS like Rome:Total War where you shape history.Psycho Cat Industries said:Yeah, but if we aren't getting it on 360,and I have as crappy a laptop as I do,how else am I gonna get in?Just the proposition of game design in a game has always scored points for me.Its probably why I love the forge mode in Halo so much. Yeah, first person and you start out as a single person in a small tribe of cultureless drone-like people and develop from there to more opinions, reasoning and action. You could rule the world in one life then be a nothing in the next.Battles would be epic. Also, for your game idea,I call climbing the flag pole onto the roof to chuck dynamite into oncoming swarms of undead!kettlefirer said:Very true, I agree, I have nothing against someone trying to bring in Minecraft to Xbox in a different way to almost open up a market. Custom servers in Left 4 Dead do have leveling and perks. In fact, I installed a lot of different plugins (mostly to make the Witch the biggest pain in the ass) as well as just make the game more difficult without being murderous. Let's just say the "Void Darkness" plug in (makes everyone go blind temporarily after killing the witch and spawns a horde) is probably one of my favorites. Especially combined with the plug in that grants you more witches and more hordes.kettlefirer said:My one is a big zombie game MMORPG or co-operative zombie survival, but not like Left 4 Dead's linear, easy shooter feel.
