Custom Robo, Tales of Symphonia, Super Smash Bros. Melee, and LoZ: Wind Waker come to mind immediately. There are tons of good games on that console though.

Has anyone said Phantasy Star Online Episode 1 and 2 yet? The ending music for Episode 2....it's just so beautiful after the final boss battle, it makes me cry when I hear it..IT'S JUST SO BEAUTIFUL!

Can I hear you say [HEADING=1]ETERNAL DARKNESS?[/HEADING]

Good. Eternal Darkness is probably the best non-nintendo game on the Gamecube. It's incredibly well written, incredibly disturbing, the combat's great, the art style is great and it's overall an incredibly entertaining survival horror game.

Also, Killer 7 and Timesplitters Future Perfect.
Agree until Timesplitters Future Perfect. Just get Timesplitters 2, far better game even if it is older.
Timesplitters 2 had some pretty piss-poor weapon balancing. Can you say rocket launchers?
Well I don't remember it much....but what I DO remember is the challenges in TS 2 being MUCH harder then 3, much MUCH harder, also had better multiplayer levels

resident evil 4 is amazing
Metal Gear Solid: the Twin Snakes is very good
Viewtiful Joe-Henshin A GO GO BABY!!!
Pikman and Pikman 2 rock.
Wind Waker may be just as good as ocarina of time.
Smash bros Melee is one of the best games ever.
Battalion Wars was actually pretty good
Custom Robo is fun and you can get it cheap now so it helps.
Star Wars: Rouge squadron III was EPIC!!!
Beyond Good & Evil was great and with a sequel on the way you should pick it up.
Eternal Darkness... just WOW.

Well, I'll give you that much, but the challenges were still there in TS2, and most of the multiplayer levels that were properly good returned.

But the rockets in TS2 were really just, in a word, bad. Learning to dodge homing rockets was a science and an art.

The two definite ones, for me, are Super Smash Bros. Melee and Resident Evil 4.

(I'm not even a fan of the Resident Evil series, but I have to admit it earned its Game of the Year title)

Super Mario Sunshine - wasn't as groundbreaking as SM64 so got a bit overlooked. One of the best Mario titles out there imo
Resident Evil Remake & Resident Evil 0 - Every bit as good as the Playstation games for mood and scares. Both still look awesome even today.
Metal Gear Solid: Twin Snakes - It's all of MGS with MGS2's gameplay. win.

I like Mario Sunshine too. Other Gamecube games I like are Mario Kart: Double Dash!!, Zelda: The Wind Waker, and Metroid Prime 2: Echoes. I prefer the first Metroid Prime, but no one is recommending the second, which I really enjoyed as well.

Mario Kart: Double Dash! You need that game in your life if you haven't already
