My favorite GC games were Custom Robo and Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door. So check those out, they're both fantastic.
Uhhh. . . the Gamecube was an okay system, but kinda sucked by Nintendo's standards--it suffered from a lack of third-party support like the N64; a problem aggravated by the fact it didn't have any exclusives as good as GoldenEye, Ocarina of Time, or Super Mario 64 (and no, Metroid Prime was not as good as these).MikeyW said:Are you kidding? Any good games for the gamecube? They are ALL good games for the gamecube. As you yourself stated, the thing is a work of art and one of my favourite systems ever. The thing is finding some of these games.
If you can, the Zelda master quest collection is definitely worth your time.
Everything this guy said. Minus metal gear..... because console exclusives suck. Console exclusives that start multi-platform. Then become exclusive... then branch off into different stories, to bend the rules on the non exclusive platform... suck even more.blacon said:Resident Evil Zero and Resident Evil (remake) are amazing. You can also get the other Resident Evil games.
Metal Gear Solid: Twin Snakes - best game on the GameCube.
Wind Waker - Fantastic.
Mario Kart: Double Dash - Amaaazing.
Ignore that, sour grapes there. MGS: Twin Snakes is the greatest game in the Metal Gear Series. So what if it was an exclusive? Didums have to get the GC just for this, awwwww. I would have. It's good enough to warrant a GC just for Twin Snakes.priestswearseatbelts said:Everything this guy said. Minus metal gear..... because console exclusives suck. Not saying that it had the BEST games, but it was the system I had the most fun eith. I will admit that my perception my be a little coloured, given that when the gamecube came out, I had just moved out of home for the first time with a bunch of mates and we spent many many many hours on the thing.EzraPound said:Uhhh. . . the Gamecube was an okay system, but kinda sucked by Nintendo's standards--it suffered from a lack of third-party support like the N64; a problem aggravated by the fact it didn't have any exclusives as good as GoldenEye, Ocarina of Time, or Super Mario 64 (and no, Metroid Prime was not as good as these).MikeyW said:Are you kidding? But in any case--the PS2 had a lot of good games, and the Xbox suffered from a lack of Japanese titles but nonetheless had strong support from PC developers to help pick up the slack. Just look at the RPGs on Xbox--not a genre the console is renowned for: Knights of the Old Republic, Jade Empire, Morrowind, and Shenmue II. Does the GC even have four games this good? Like, Sega's (excellent) Dreamcast leftovers on the Xbox--Jet Set Radio Future, Panzer Dragoon Orta, Gunvalkyrie, Shenmue II--are probably as good as the best Nintendo-developed GC titles.
it is.Euhan01 said:Time splitters 2 definatly, 3 if its on Gamecube can't remember. Metroid Prime 1/2 are also brilliant.
