Legend of Dragoon. the last truly entertaining horrible JRPG translation.
Even so, I wish they would re-release that on PSN.
oh absolutely. the game itself is fine, it's just the translation is hilariously bad.

it's rare finding a bad game you can actually enjoy playing. i can't even think of any other real good examples off the top of my head. the best i can think of is orphen: scion of sorcery. i only got it because years my dad offered to buy me a game out of the bargain rack and that was the best looking one they had. i can't even remember that much about it, other than i still go into gamestops and see how much it sells for used. ($3, last i checked.)

oh, and maybe DMC2, which i've still never played because no one would sell it to me. i tried to pick it up once for $8 and the guy said "No. Don't buy it. Dante's a pussy, the game sucks."
Yeah, I only got to the second disk of LoD before my friend wanted it back. I don't see why Sony doesn't do it. I think they produced it, right? I mean who wouldn't want to step into the ruby red boots of Dart again, and battle the evil Lloyd? ^_^

While the game itself was actually pretty enjoyable, the dialogue in Rogue Galaxy was laughably bad on account of the writing (I can't blame the actors; almost the entire cast was made up of great voice actors, but they were given ridiculous scripts to read).

This. It was terrible and clearly unfinished. As in unfinished to the point where you couldn't really be upset at the game.

I'm a big fan of Sports Interactive's Football Manager series, but at one point I got tired of it and decided to branch out into other sports games. The first one I tried, EA's Total Club Manager or whatever it is called now, was so laughably bad I had to uninstall it after 30 minutes.

Stranglehold.. So lame it's good.
What? That game was like being in the Matrix. You do gun dives, get environmental kills, duel wield. It was being in an action movie. I mean look at the cast and stuff behind it. It was a sequal to a movie also.

It's called "Flux World." For added hilarity, read the documentation.

www.screwattack.com look up AVGN. You will see reviews of, arguably THE worst retro games. But to pick one Rolfe hasn't done, I say Batman Returns for Gameboy. You CANNOT beat the first room.

Area 51 for the 360
There are certain staircases that will cause your vehicle to levitate over them instead of falling down them. Plus the story is terribad and the game-play is ridiculous.

...Wow. I wonder what the programmers were doing? That was a truly pathetic attempt at a game.

There was one I picked up for my PS2 a while back, I think it was called "SNK Battle Arena." I picked it up thinking "Ooooh... I like SNK fighting games, and this appears to have a huge variety of characters from some of the best of SNK's fighters... this will be awesome!"

Twenty minutes, a bunch of incomprehensible cutscenes, and some controls that I couldn't in good faith call "utter and complete shit" later, I was on my way back to Play N' Trade to return it.

I rented Superman 64 when I was very very young and enjoyed it...........I didn't know where to go so I just flew around although I do remember going through walls and such. I also remember the fog but because I was young I didn't really care.
