Every few years I load up Diablo 2 and rebuild a character or 2. I have UT99 on my desktop at the moment but If im feeling realy nostalgic I'll root out the old NES and play the original Supper Mario Bros.

I regularly play UFO:Enemy Unknown AKA X-Com:UFO Defense. At least once a year I play the first sandbox game that ever grabbed me, Sid Meier's Pirates! This year I may have to play on PC this year though as I think my C64 floppy drive has finally given up the ghost. A shame as I will miss the Commodore's superior music.

Baldur's Gate 2 (and 1).

The first is my childhood (basically) and the second (In my opinion) is sooo good =P

Master of Magic, a fantasy 4x strategy game, and, now that it's available on GOG, TIE Fighter.

I played it for about four hours last night (first time in at least 5 years, could be close to 7 or so) and I was soooo bad.

Although younger me didn't like losing and made my TIE invulnerable, have unlimited ammo, and not take damage from collisions.

With old I assume pre-2000 gaming?
If so, the answer is easy: Carmageddon.

If anything since last year counts:
Pretty much most games in my library, too many to name.

I still have my original x-box. Phantasy Star Online is one I commonly come back to, Castlevania: Curse of Darkness, NFL Street 2, Gauntlet: Dark Legacy, both Star Wars: KOTOR games, Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance 1 and 2, Marvel: Ultimate Alliance (not sure if that is old enough to count for this but meh) Spider-man, Turok: Evolution, Star Wars: Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy

Blade, Castlevania: Circle of the Moon, X-men: Reign of Apocalypse, Spyro: Season of Flame, Metroid Fusion, Warioland 4 all for GBA had super mario world as part of Super Mario Advance 2 on my GBA but I lost that catridge years ago.

Super Mario World, bomberman 95 (93?) Super Metroid, Earthworm Jim (virtual console on Wii)

On my computer Unreal Tournament, the original Unreal, Diablo 1 and 2, Pool of Radiance: Ruins of Myth Drannor, Fable: Lost Chapters, Men In Black Deus Ex, sadly none of my mechwarrior games run on my computer. 4 might actually. . . Dark Reign 1 and 2.

X-com. UFO Defense, Terror From the Deep, Interceptor, Apocalypse, and Enforcer

Ok so most of my gaming. Most "recent" game I have is Torchlight from 2009 (not counting Divinity II: Ego Draconis since I was borrowing that from a friend)

Modern Warfare Games ( Its just nice to shoot up stuff )
Sins of a Solar Empire + Rebellion

Dungeons and Dragons: Tower of Doom [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dungeons_%26_Dragons:_Tower_of_Doom]

Best damn arcade brawler ever made.

-Perfectly balanced difficulty: despite being an arcade it is not a credit muncher and can be finished with 1 coin by a skilled player;
-engaging and complex for something designed to be played on a stick and four buttons, no other game of his genre is as deep, with the exception of his predecessor;
-easy to learn, hard to master; plays like a brawler, but the combat has the depth of a beat'em up;
-great music and voices.

You should try it - it's even available on Steam [http://store.steampowered.com/app/229480/]!

Half-Life 2 will be 10 years old later this month, and I replay that (as well as the original Half-life) somewhat regularly.

I also really like going back to play Doom, System Shock 2, Morrowind, Super Metroid, and Metal Gear Solid every so often.

I go back to 007 Nightfire whenever modern shooters let me down. Every few months I'll throw one of the Pokemons on an emulator (relax, I own the carts) so I can crank the grinding to 5000% speed. It still takes me about eight hours.

I go back to FarCry 1 at least once a year, and since the 360 remastering (it's more of a remaster than any of the GOTY editions on the new consoles) came out I have to excuse to play it more often.

In fact I do find it weird that FarCry 1 is just called a port to the 360/PS3 when there is a change to some vital mechanics which almost completely change how you play the game. That's not the subject of the thread so I won't dwell any longer.

Minecraft probably isn't considered an "older" game yet, but I'm definitely going to return to that game in 5 and 10 years time when it is considered "older".

Angband - a pure classic.

Heroes of Might and Magic 3 Complete - the gameplay is still amazing today, and fan-made maps make it fresh.

Dark Souls, likewise to Minecraft.

World of Warcraft - it came out in 2004, so... "older"?

Every time a new Splinter Cell game comes out, I play through the entire series before playing the new game.

That, ladies and gentlemen, is the reason Blacklist is still in my "to play" list, despite Splinter Cell being my favorite franchise.

Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines
One of those few games that even though it had horrible combat mechanics, the world is just amazing, and the dialogue choices just flat out rule. Such a shame the world of darkness never got revisited again after that.
