I was giddy about Blazblue calamity trigger, and now I'm even more hyped about continuum shift, hell when it was announced I spent all of my free time on dustloop reading about even the tiniest morsel of information, now that it's about to be released and all of the trailers are coming out I can hardly wait.

Yeah, but only when I care enough to possibly buy the game. Like Fallout: New Vegas for example. I'm pretty amped for the game because I know I'll be purchasing it.

In that timeframe, Pokemon: Soul Silver, Mario Galaxy, Zelda: Twilight Princess, New Super Mario Bros. Wii.

This may be because Pokemon: Silver was one of my favorite games growing up, as well as the Mario series and Zelda series. Others, such as Donkey Kong, Star Fox, kirby, Sonic, Final Fantasy, have either dropped off the map or changed in a way that I find unappealing. I love how similar the remake is to the original, and how Mario and Zelda stick to the same formula while changing things up slightly in every installment.

Also, I was pretty hyped for Resident Evil 5 and Final Fantasy 13, but they were dissapointing (RE5 would have been better if 90% of the plot wasn't revealed in the freaking trailers...)

Edit: Also the DS port of Chrono Trigger, one of my favorite games

I remember getting excited over Fable 2, after I adored the original. That left me pretty disappointed. After that I've tried not to get too hyped up about a game. Admittedly I did get worked up about Final Fantasy XIII before it's release though, considering how long we had to wait for it, and how awesome the trailers looked. That managed to not disappoint though, which is good.

I think about Fallout: New Vegas at least every other day. I think I'm more excited now cause when I was a kid I didn't know what games where coming out so far ahead.

I was hyped up for that game for 3 fucking years.

Fuckin SUCKED.
YES EXACTLY. The game looked like it would be better then sex, but it ended up being really shitty. It barely had any replay value, and every single aspect of it (except for the creature creator) had been done better by another game. Pissed me off.

I got excited on Fable II and Halo 3, and now I'm totally burnt out on the hype meter. XD

IDK why, but after those two games, I kinda stopped getting excited for games. Reach is awesome, but I'm not where near as excited for it than Halo 3. (But I'm having much more fun, but I over played Halo 3 like a betch.)

The last game I was really excited about was many, many years ago. Almost 29 years to be exact. I was a movie fan, and waited so long to get my hands on this game. I even had my father build me a small shelf where I was going to put an EXTRA copy for the start of a collection.

That game was E.T.

I'm still in theropy.

Mega Man X Collection, Devil May Cry 3 ($5 for the PC version? Score!), Devil May Cry 4, and now, Mega Man Zero Collection (I've only played Zero 3, and man, was it awesome). It's also worth noting that the first 3 games I mentioned are now my 3 favourite games.

I was also really excited for the release of X-Men Legends 1 & 2. Then I played them, somehow managed to overlook their flaws for a time, and enjoyed them a lot. Then I got tired of having to deal with the games' problems and got sick of them.

One that I was really hoping for was ModNation Racers. It's not the best but it's still pretty good. For future titles all I want are:

LBP2: CANNOT WAIT!!!!!!

CoD Black Ops: cool....

Fallout New Vegas: When I heard of this all I could do was widen my eyes and drop my jaw...

But the one I want most is...

SURVEY SAYS...

Fable 3: All I can think right now is "FABLE 3!!"

Everything in the Orange Box, because I'm cheap and extremely behind on actually having played any games considered legendary.

Golden Sun 3, and all DS installments of Castlevania.

And i got super into WoW as well when i first heard of it, I guess. Still a big part of life but more as a subject of study and time-passing than a fanboy thing.

I squealed like a little girl when Golden Sun DS was announced. It hasn't come out yet but I have no doubts that it will be awesome.
