Hehe, kidding. I was damn excited for Fallout 3 and not disappointed (the story and world weren't as good as I was hoping, but the combat exceeded my expectations.) I'd really love to play Red Dead Redemption, but I'm going to have to wait until it's out on PC... I guess that just leaves more time to enjoy Starcraft II this summer!

I got pretty excited when I started playing WoW again, because my brother was playing it and I saw how awesome outland is. But besides that, nothing really grabs me. Sure there are games coming out soon that grab my attention, like Reach and Starcraft 2, but nothing I'm losing sleep over.

Call of Pripyat. And the ending did not disappoint. I hope GSC makes another STALKER game, but doesn't return to Strelok's story- it's over now, Strelok's tale is told. I'd like to see a STALKER game about the first days of the zone.

Nothing, absolutely NOTHING has got me exited, I felt like I have seen nearly every games released in 2005 and before. I'm probably going to retire from gaming, everything about games if getting stale for me, plus I'm not having enough time to play lately anyways.
I was very excited for the release of Metal Gear Solid IV, but consequently due to the inherent lack of a PlayStation 3, wasn't able to play it until about a month ago; that being said, it blew away my expectations for the game even after being inundated with reviews and opinions for nearly a year.varun619 said:

TF2 came out in 2007.

Saint's Row 3, I want that game so bad and there isn't even any hype for it, Red Dead Redemption was a great hope of mine and boy, did I enjoy it.
I guess it comes from me being very selective, I learn a lot about a game's features and controls before I play it, get into hating/loving characters and story elements later on.

Bioshock 2, Fallout 3, and Left 4 Dead 2.
Bioshock 2 was pretty much what I was expecting except for the shitty multiplayer, Fallout 3 surpassed my expectations, and Left 4 Dead 2 was a bilious piece of dirt that made me cry out in pain.

In recent times I'd say Heavy Rain, Bioshock 2 and Mirror's Edge. I got Heavy Rain and Bioshock 2 in their Collectors Editions (cept Heavy Rain was a gift for my birthday).
Heavy Rain I had been waiting for for months. Since I saw one of the really early trailers (the Audition one). And the game itself? Incredible. Lived up to every single one of my expectations.
Bioshock 2. Well Bioshock I loved. As such I thought Bioshock 2 would be brilliant. And I thought it the Collector's Edition (the big one...the really awesomely big one) would be incredible. And well...it was. It was fucking incredible.
And now onto Mirror's Edge. Well...I loved the game. I really did. It was exactly what I expected it to be and more. I especially loved the chase scenes.
Now...hmmm now I'm in anxiously awaiting well nothing really. I'm still enjoying Borderlands and Demon's Souls which I was quite excited about.

I would go crazy when a new Dragonball Z came out, especially if it was Budokai! It was my first ps2 game and I played that game so hard, I actually felt like a super sayain! I remember going batshit insane when I saw Budokai 3 coming out. Burst Limit was ok so I guess im keeping an eye out for Burst Limit 2. But now that Im older and had so many gaming disappointments, I tend to not get my hopes up. Although, I did get REALLY excited for Devil May Cry 4, Metal Gear 4, God of War 3, and Bayonetta because I knew they wouldn't disappoint, and they didn't (for the most part)
