Just curious because I seem to be the only one out of my circle of friends who actually has one. Hell, if it weren't for her I wouldn't be a nerd making this thread.

She only really plays WoW now but she used to be into other games like Diablo 2, KOTOR, the civ games.

Watching your mum beat KOTOR for the sixth time is pretty awesome.
Lol, my dad plays frogger for PC, he's unlocked all the levels. :p But my mum tried a halo 3 multiplayer match and ended up killing herself about 5 times, so no shes not a gamer.

Holy Non-Sequitar Batman! A little ready to jump on the Anti-American bandwagon, now arn't we? You say Mum, others say Mam, Americans say Ma. But it's the Grammar Nazi who yells at them, and points out that those words all mean mom. So country of origin has absolutely nothing to do with it.
I'm not sure if I was being Anti-American. All I did was point out to an American, who implied that we were writing 'mum' wrong, that it was historic fact that he/ she was wrong, not us.

Sorry if that makes me a Grammar Nazi. Has a nice ring to it though.

Indeed, she plays C&C, and she's good at it.

However she just tank rushes after shes built everything. I shouldn't of taught here the tank rush.

In an odd twist of fate... I bought my mom a Wii last Cristmas. I found it very weird that that is what she asked for and I was buying it for her. How the tables have turned.

My mom once tried to play Animal Crossing once, but that's about it... She gets really motion sick when watching video games.

My friend's mom on the other hand made her stay home from school several times in order to pull all-nighters of Naruto: Clash of Ninja 2... I can't play games online with this friend without her being pulled away to go help out her mom's party in Fiesta.

I hope you're kidding. MUM is the British form of the word MOM.
Neither of my parents play games. My dad used to play SimCity3000. Work kinda became prioritised though.
I think as the language is ENGLISH MOM is the corrupted American version of MUM.

My mum plays both Call Of Dutys on the PS3, and has completed the entire Tomb Raider series.

She is also top prestige on both CODs.

I believe the phrase was, "Fell free to stop being a jackass and accept other countries other than your oh so precious US of A anytime soon." Given the fact that there wasn't an ounce of jingoism in his statement, then your accusation can really only be described as Racism. I'm not accusing you of being racist, but it was a racist statement.

It is extraordinarily clear that your accusing the American of of having a superiority complex, because hes one of those asshole Americans who don' care about other countries. Excellent stereotype. It's also pretty clear that he was attacking the use of slang instead of the full, proper, "Mom". And your not even paying attention, I said that you could accuse HIM of being a grammar Nazi for correcting your slang. Yes, I get it, American foreign policy screwed up and did some jackass things, and we had an idiot for a leader. That doesn't reflect on all Americans.

I don't think Spider Solitaire counts. But she at least attempted Ninja Gaiden DS, said she didn't like how the DS is supposed to be held for that game.
I am thinking of introducing her to Portal, then HL2 cause my dad gets sick when playing FPS. Maybe Pikmin 2.

We've screwed over some other words like double consonants, but I still spell theater, theatre. And then my Freshman English teacher told me I'm wrong.

Personally, my mom won't play anything more than Bejeweled, but my friends GRANDMA (OMG SCARY) plays World of Warcraft, has a few level 80's, and a successful guild/arena team.

I wish i was kidding, this stuff is just too crazy

My mom is almost 43 and plays Half Life 2, CS:S, TF2, TFC, L4D, and a little bit Call of Duty 4.
Pops plays stuff like Civilization and stuff, he did play Fable 2 for a while though.

She's pretty beast. Me + Mom in CS:S or TF2 = Uberness.

My mom WAS a gamer she used to be able to beat games like Gauntlet and Banjo-Kazooie on the N64 in around 7hrs for Gauntlet and 6hrs for Banjo, both 100% completion.

Nowadays she plays crosswords and Professor Layton on the DS.

True, but since the original poster seemed to be ignorant that the word MUM even existed, I decided to dumb down my explanation. (I'm Irish BTW.)
