I'd like to apologize on behalf of America for alot of things. I've made a list.

*ahem*

Boy Bands
Fast Food
The Progressive Movement
Al Gore and his global warming BS
EA games
Activision
The fact that the instant Chris Taylor got any money at all, he turned into a backstabbing, DRM advocating sell-out
Paris Hilton
Microsoft
The Public School System
Twilight and this generation's current obsession with Vampires.
Cheap beer made by Rednecks, for Rednecks.

I'll probably think of more stuff later.

Sorry we renamed all our stuff "Freedom Fries" and "Freedom Toast" a while back. That was a dick move.

Yes England was forced to intervene when they should of intervened much sooner with the help of the Republic. It would of looked bad on them if they didn't intervene and they did a piss poor job of invetervention(Eg Guildford 4, that little incident in Croke Park, not disarming Unionists and Nationalists) as it was way too late and it had already spun out of control. The Troubles were not started by one group. They were started by years of dissent that was encouraged on both sides. In fact if I remember my history right might have to dig up my Junior Cert book to check this the Unionists armed themselves first before the start of the Troubles. Does that mean they started it? No. The blame for the Troubles rests on both sides as I already said and it is soemthing you don't seem willing even accept.

I do accept that it was the fault of both sides read what I wrote. Both sides are just as guilty for letting it get to the point it did. I do not blame the common people on either side if you read what I said. The war started because of small groups of nutters on both sides of the conflict. People who took petty disputes and used it as an excuse for killing thousands of people.
Yes you do accept fault of both sides but you also victimise the Unionists by saying that Nationalists started it which I don't agree with as they both kinda started it. Yes people did use it for excuses to kill as well. I also never said at any point you blamed common people as common people wouldn't really be part of this to be being with.

On behalf of the Republic of Ireland I apologize for the deluded idiot scumbags who joined the modern IRA and committed terrorists acts killing innocent men, women and children, both British and Irish. They are a disgrace to the country and no matter what you might see on YouTube... Ireland despises all the Tiocfaidh Ár Lá bullshit.

Ahem.

Dear World,

On behalf of the United States of America, I CrazyGirl17, humbly apologize for my country's wrongdoings, hypocrisy, stupidity, violence, poor decisions, and general dickery that has shamed our nation.

Once again, I'm very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, sorry, and ask forgiveness... or at least some tolerance for our stupid mistakes.

Sorry you're note as good as us. Amazing how our schools have some of the lowest standards, yet we produce the smartest people. And were also sorry everyone wants to immigrate to us (that whole freedom things a *****, aint it?)

Every country makes mistakes, but for all the good we spread in the world, you really gotta rag on us? Cmon other coutries, get it together. Seriously though, sorry for Republicans.

Sincerly, an American sick of seeing other Americans that hate America because their liberal-arts teacher told them so.

I am sorry for being English and for creating an empire which spanned for 1/4 of the worlds surface and infecting it with Government and law which was mostly then carried on after we released the nations and became a good model for applying law. We sorry for bringing technology and medicine to aid development to all of these regions of the earth as I am sure many of them would rather scavenging with sticks and dying of various diseases. We are severely sorry for giving India its most crucial rail ways... oh and for solving that long running civil war. We are sorry for being the FIRST NATION IN THE WORLD... for abolishing slavery throughout all of our empire. We are sorry for America, we tried to keep hold of them but no one listened to us... look at them now, they were undercooked morally and they then turned into today's mess. We are sorry for only shooting off one of Hitlers testicles in WW1 and not going for the head, we really fucked up there. We are sorry for Margret Thatcher... sorry for ourselves, not anyone else. We are sorry for the first Iraq war, if we have followed through and killed Saddam Hussein there and then we could have saved so much trouble (but apparently the American Media would "not approve" of butchering all those military men to liberate an entire country from dictatorship and a further war).

On behalf of my country I am sorry :(

Ok so I think we can both just agree that the whole thing was stupid. A dumb war caused by dumb people. Lets just say both sides are as guilty as the other. I have nothing against anybody on either side. So lets just say this has run its course and end this topic.

I feel you've missed the point of the thread by a hair.

Any other Brit feels like being sorry for this guy? It would help a lot...
