Yes England was forced to intervene when they should of intervened much sooner with the help of the Republic. It would of looked bad on them if they didn't intervene and they did a piss poor job of invetervention(Eg Guildford 4, that little incident in Croke Park, not disarming Unionists and Nationalists) as it was way too late and it had already spun out of control. People who took petty disputes and used it as an excuse for killing thousands of people.

Yes people did use it for excuses to kill as well. I also never said at any point you blamed common people as common people wouldn't really be part of this to be being with.

I am sorry for being English and for creating an empire which spanned for 1/4 of the worlds surface and infecting it with Government and law which was mostly then carried on after we released the nations and became a good model for applying law.
