Dunsparce, man!

My Dunsparce REALLY came through for me in the champion battle in Black 2. His Glare/Zen Headbutt combo beat the champion's Lapras, hands down, and whittled away at her next Pokémon before succumbing to a lucky hit, allowing his severely weakened teammates to finish off her final 2 Pokémon.

Sadly, he's usually the one who needs to take a back seat for an HM slave, mostly because his stats, other than HP, which is the highest out of the entire team, are lower than my other Pokémon's... Dunsparce has always had a special place in my heart for its ability to piss people off with ParaFlinch tactics, but after my Dunsparce's heroics in Pokémon Black 2, it is now one of my favourite Pokémon, even if it isn't all too great.

EDIT: I see people talking about Arcanine as if it's horrible. My Arcanine, affectionately named Shana, was my MVP for most of Black 2. Shana had Flare Blitz, Outrage, Wild Charge and Crunch, and nothing could stand up to her sheer power. I think Arcanine is actually REALLY REALLY good.

Farfetch'd. It is my favorite Pokemon and I use it in every game I have. I also always get a Stick so he can critical hit things constantly and not be totally worthless.
Was going to say this, ninja'd. Farfetch'd is just amazing, it's like a cocky, samurai duck with attitude. I just imagine it waddling about with its leek whacking much bigger, scarier pokemon. And it's actually statistically terrible, unlike most of the pokemon in this thread.

Absol and Glaceon are both fairly underused (though if you look at it, actually have some DAMN good stats) and i almost ALWAYS have them in my party...

also Samurott, Lucario, Blaziken, and Jolteon

I always gotta have a Snorlax. All the times since red/blue that never changes.

I'm partial to Dragonite, Tyranitar, Gyarados and Charizard. Love Umbreon too. I've never tried to build a competitive team I just build a team based on whether I have an attachment to them which I guess is some nostalgia at work.
