Lets put it this way, if you talk to me in my sleep, i don't wake up. I'll talk back though. I also punch myself if i have a nightmare which involves me getting hit. Hurts like a ***** when i wake up

I'm an extremely heavy sleeper. I usually sleep through my alarm clock. My parents once dragged me to a car race and I slept through the whole thing.

Waking me up is apparently really hard if I don't want to wake up. Plus once I'm awake and still in bed I can fall back to sleep instantly.

Though I can get up pretty early, even without an alarm clock if I really want to, like last saturday where I woke up at 9:15 to watch the animated Batman: The Brave and the Bold. No clock, nothing.

I'm one hell of a light sleeper. The slightest thing can wake me up

It pisses me off to no end.

I have always had trouble getting to sleep, it usually takes me about two hours from getting in bed to falling asleep, always been that way, only when I'm dead tired does it change, but once I'm asleep apparently I'm a bastard to wake up.

A combination of both. If you are already in my room and you are relatively quiet, I'll sleep through it. However, if you open my door, I'm awake instantly. I don't know why I do that but it makes it convenient for when my mom is telling me to get up because my alarm clock didn't go off AGAIN and I just missed the bus to school.

No and I can't stand it.

I wake up at the smallest disturbance.

I guess it's a good thing if someone tries to break in, but still, it gets annoying.

I can sleep through rain because I love the sound, but unless I'm dead tired it has to be pitch black and dead silent for me to fall and stay asleep.

I am an incredibly heavy sleeper. I've slept through people kicking me, an eathquake shaking my house, the whole play of The soind of music whilest right next to the orchestra and my fire and burglar alarm (which is a bad thing).

However I find it very hard for me to get to sleep. I have DSPS which means that I can never fall asleep at (socialably) normal times and it always has to be dead silent. I hate even the tiniest noise when I'm trying to sleep.
I'm a little bit like that.

Go to bed at midnight? Sleep like a brick till about 4 pm. =(
Go to bed at 4 pm? I'll be wide awake a little after sunset.

Irritates me to no end I tell you =(

Also, I tend to be more awake during the hours of 6 pm - 2 am.
No idea why, even if I am dead tired, it's like a caffeine hit. o_O

I'm a heavy sleeper alright. Not much can wake me up. And if it does, it'll generally bring me to a state where I'm slightly more awake, but still sleeping. Alarm clocks register, but I need four of them to get me to actually wake up. Seriously...

Once, someone stole a car and set it on fire in front of my house. Two fire trucks came along, sirens blaring, lights flashing. The whole neighbourhood watched. Didn't even register for me...

Definatly a heavy sleeper, my brothers drunk friends came into my room middle of the night took a picture of his friends who climbed into my bed either side of me. I woke up the next morning thinking it had been a dream. Until I found a half drunk beer can and wine spilled outside the door. On a entirely unrelated note my brother isn't a heavy sleep, even a bucket of cold water and ice wakes him up.

When I sleep, I'm dead to the world. I've slept through / immediately fallen back to sleep during fire alarms, people yelling, a simulated war (on a video game), at the movie theatre during a boring action flick, and through my baby crying...I feel bad about that last one. I'll get a full night's sleep and be confused why my wife is still tired only to find out that our daughter decided to wake up screaming every hour (she's getting teeth in...fun...). I make up for it by taking care of the baby so my wife can sleep in. Also, I have a tendency of talking in my sleep occasionally and, more often, my mouth will be awake and talking before my brain starts working which leads to odd conversations. For example, my wife walked in while I was having one of "those" dreams. I won't go on too much but I will say that I'm lucky that I was dreaming about her.

That's why I lay my arm over my face with the crease of my elbow over the bridge of my nose while I sleep. It works to block out light and dulls sounds...though my shoulder hurts when I wake up. It got injured and that's an odd position I guess.

I'm a very heavy sleeper, but I have a hard time falling asleep. For example, I once got an old fashioned wind up alarm clock with a super loud bell so it would wake me up, but I couldn't fall asleep because it made a ticking sound.
