Are you a heavy sleeper?

I move around a lot when I sleep, but it takes quite a lot to wake me up. I have shells hanging from my window like a curtain, and once, in the middle of the night, the bar holding the shells gave out ,and they all crashed to the floor.
My parents in the room next to mine woke up, thinking it was a robber or something. I didn't move a muscle.
Good thing it wasn't actually a robber. I would have made the easiest victim ever.
However, if I'm alone really late at night, any little noise will often spook me extremly badly, making it hard to fall asleep. But once I'm out, I'm pretty much out.
I did wake up when a hurricane ripped through our town, so I'm not as heavy a sleeper as other, people, but I do fall pretty deep.

I am an incredibly heavy sleeper. I've slept through people kicking me, an eathquake shaking my house, the whole play of The soind of music whilest right next to the orchestra and my fire and burglar alarm (which is a bad thing).

However I find it very hard for me to get to sleep. I have DSPS which means that I can never fall asleep at (socialably) normal times and it always has to be dead silent. I hate even the tiniest noise when I'm trying to sleep.
I'm a little bit like that.

Go to bed at midnight? Sleep like a brick till about 4 pm. =(
Go to bed at 4 pm? I'll be wide awake a little after sunset.

Irritates me to no end I tell you =(

Also, I tend to be more awake during the hours of 6 pm - 2 am.
No idea why, even if I am dead tired, it's like a caffeine hit. o_O
Pretty much exactly the same as what you just wrote. It's a nightmare when I have to wake up at 9.00 to go to school and only really wake up by the time I get home.

I did find a way around it though. If you can stay awake for a whole day you will be so damn tired that you can fall asleep whenever you like. The only drawback is that you will feel like s**t for about 20 hours. I hate it more when I have no sleep. My heart starts to pound badly and I wobble a lot and can't walk very straight. It's also very hard to stay awake like that. I usually nod off on a sofa or something.

I slept through the fire alarm in my dorm. I have a really good internal clock though.

Very heavy sleeper. I regularly sleep through thunderstorms, and worst of all I subconsciously walk across rooms to shut off alarms without ever waking up. It's a pretty crappy habit to break.

I wish I were a heavy sleeper. The oddest sounds wake me up. But I guess the fact that I can sleep just about anywhere makes up for my lack of noise tolerance.

Yes, thank God! I used to have a mild case of insomnia, which was the most annoying thing in the world, but now I could sleep through an earthquake (and I have).

Oddly enough though, I always wake up just before my alarm goes off.

It depends, actually. If you catch me at the beginning or end of my sleep cycle, I am the world's lightest sleeper. But if you catch me about 2-3 hours into a night's rest, I am out. I've apparently been 'awoken' by my roommate and held an entire conversation with her. I have no memory of this, or of the day my boss called when I was dead asleep and I not only agreed to come in 4 hours early the next day, I entered it into my phone's calendar. VERY confused how the hell I managed that.

I could sleep through an apocalypse. Seriously, Jesus would be comin' in on his majestic horsey and everybody would be screaming and rioting, praising the lawd' and I'd just be there. Sleeping in blissful ignorance. True story.

In fact, the only thing that wakes me up is my alarm, thankfully.

It's not too unusual for really tired people to have a conversation, then fall back to sleep and not remember what they were talking about when they wake up.

Happens to me and a few others at least.

I rarely sleep, but once I do, it's impossible to wake me up. Unless you directly call my name. That seems to work...

Very quiet noises will easily wake me up no matter what the situation, but incredibly loud noises won't bother me at all. I'll hear my friends say that they woke up in the middle of the night because of a thunderstorm, and I'll just sit there, smiling and energetic.

Very heavy sleeper. I have slept through my house alarm going off multiple times. Also, when I know I don't need to get up but leave my alarm on accidentally, I don't really realize its going off till around 8:30-ish when it goes off at 6:30, though I do manage to keep hitting the snooze button.

Depends on where I am, really.

If I'm at home, the slightest little house-settling squeak will wake me up, but if I'm anywhere else, I sleep like the dead.

Only certain noises wake me up. I'm not sure how that works. Usually it's the most random noise, whereas I can sleep through thunderstorms easily. For some reason, I also wake up like every 5-6 hours for no reason. It'll be like 4am and I'll wake up to the room being dark and the alarm not going off. Sometimes though, I'll wake up to the worst cramps in my calves, so bad that I need to stand up to stretch out the muscles. It fucking sucks.

Heavy enough where I can get a good night's sleep, light enough where if anyone is sneaking around in my room I can hear them.

I can sleep through anything except for light. If a light gets shined in my face while I'm sleeping or if someone just turns on the lights then I wake up either instantly (which is the usual case) or just gradually. Other than that though I'm a ridiculously heavy sleeper.

I wake up to things like voices of people who shouldn't be at my place (like when a roommate has people over while I'm asleep). This usually triggers an armed response.
