$100... Uh... Going to assume you live in Australia as it's only $60 like all other games...SL33TBL1ND said:Nope. I don't feel like spending $100 for yet another COD.
I hear ya'. It does get rather frustrating. Half the time, I don't get the map packs unless there's a really good deal. I have my own hangups about Activision and EA. Just wanted to offer a perspective that might move you to play some pretty good games, but I understand your side of things.Garyn Dakari said:Yeah, I know it doesn't really accomplish anything....But I just don't want to support Activision in any way, least of all by buying their product. I've got no problem with other people buying it mind you, I'm not saying anyone else shouldn't, but I know I won't(The biggest reason being that they lay off or fire developers a lot after the game comes out, so the people who actually MAKE the game don't get paid the way they should). Another reason I dislike CoD in general is that all those map packs and stuff, make each new game over $100 by the time they're "Done", then that just gets repeated the next year -_-Sennune said:I would suggest purchasing these games used so that way you can be assured a fellow consumer or Gamestop, Gamexchange, etc, sees the money. So you can get to play a great game without the guilt.
EA is almost at a boycott level for me...But not quite...They're greedy, and really stupid, but not quite "evil" level that Activision is in my mind.
But anyway, all in all, I just don't want to buy Activision things, and the business practices behind CoD are just a huge turn off to me in general, regardless of the publisher/developer(15$ map packs, yearly releases, overpriced, ect.)
Definitely from Australia.Korten12 said:$100... Uh... Going to assume you live in Australia as it's only $60 like all other games...SL33TBL1ND said:Nope. I don't feel like spending $100 for yet another COD.
OT: Yes I will be getting it, already got it on preorder from Amazon. Treyarch is changing up quite a bit in this one and I love the Strike Force game mode for the Single-player, it sounds awesome. Plus Zombies, love Blops/WaW zombies.
What platform?Caramel Frappe said:Me and my girlfriend were actually going to camp out till midnight to get our preordered Black Ops II because despite that the series is getting old, it's still a grand experience and especially all the funner when you're playing it with someone you know ... or love. ^_^
By the way if you get the game, feel free to request if I can play with you. I'd like that very much, and together we can prevail any map.
