Since I never play online, I've found myself quite immune to the Greater Internet Fuckwad Theory.

And in single-player I tend to be a fuckin' Boy Scout. I just can't bring myself to be evil in most RPGs. If I'm being evil, it's probably a sign that the game isn't very good and the NPCs are so poorly designed as to bring out my angry side. But in the RPGs I actually like (read: Elder Scrolls and Fallout 3/NV), I'm as good as good gets.

Only once for a whole weekend... TBOGT multiplayer free roam... those stickies are damn fun...

But otherwise, I'm quite patient in both games and reality...

Even less of an ass than in real life. That isn't very much to start with anyway. I figure, if I act like an ass in multiplayer, people get more aggressive towards me and less so towards my teammates. In singleplayer, I'm also very cool headed.

Online: no, im actually just as nice as I am in real life
Offline (singleplayer): I am the biggest dueche to all npc's. I even somehow (accidently) killed Alyx in HL2
Considering her very fast health regen, killing her off on purpose is difficult enough unless she has a whole garrison of Combine firing on her and you aren't helping. To do it accidentally is quite a feat.

In Online games, absolutely. I seek to crush my enemies, to see them driven before me, and to hear the lamentations of their women!

Depends, some times I'm super nice on games, other times, I'm a giant ass. It all just depends on how my day is going. But I'm definitely more capable of being a dick on games then in real life...

Well, I get more irritated while playing games, fo example if there's some asshole camper in CoD that keeps picking me off upon every respawn. But I am generally the same person in-game as out.

That being said, the assholes you hear over CoD multiplayer are assholes irl as well.

Do you believe you act more aggressive or are just generally impatient in gaming as opposed to your real life personality?

I tend to believe that some games and people bring out my bad side, usually I'm a lassaiz-faire laid back none arguementitive sort of person, but playing CoD or Halo can often leave me wanting to pound certain gaming individuals for thier sheer idiocy. Are you the same, or do you behave the same way you do in normal circumstances?
You're playing COD multiplayer, thats normal. Anyways, I think I tend to be more cautious, depending on the game.

I don't think I'm more of an ass per se, but I think my ADHD shines through more online. Which is usually harmless. Usually. But then again, it also leads to many a "misunderstanding" in Red Dead Redemption.

With offline friends, so nobody takes it too personally most of the time.

Versus, I'm there to win, but I don't really act like a jerk unless someone's being a killjoy. I save the ass-like behaviour for my friends.

You know, the first two parts of that saying are okay. But who really wants to stick around for the lamentations part. I mean all the wah wah, why god, why. I would be like "just let it go already lady! Oh and I'll be back next season so have some nice phat lootz next time, eh."

Let me guess. A Dwarf Fortress player? Or were you referring to another game?

I always try to be polite and nice when playing online games. Some people has a way about them that makes me dislike them however. They often get a taste of my fury!

yes, and no. Depends on the game, really. Some games just make me wanna pimpslap/murder every asshat NPC in my way (Mass Effect), while others i just can't help but be the good guy (Fallout). As for multiplayer, i dunno. I usually only play with people I'm actually in the same room with, which kinda makes it hard to be a dick (although i have seen it happen...and it astounds me o_O).
