I almost always use my real age on the internet. The only times I don't is when I have to enter my age to watch something M rated, in which case I then magically switch ages and birthdays with my older brother.

I see no advantage of lowering or raising my age. I'm old enough that when I was below 18 websites/video games/movie theatres hadn't thought to ask you yet

When I was younger, I would always put my age as 18 to access stuff with an age requirement. Other than that, I always just put what I am, I see no point in lying about that.

Heh, I have the same reasons. But that is what happens when you are 32 years old.

I'll honestly fill in information but for youtube..."I have be 18 to view what!?!"
Old account deleted, new one created... I don't like having my viewing options limited due to my age. :(
Sure the limit is put there to protect little kids from adult content but....do I really care?

Sometimes in certain circumstances people lie about certain things, of these things especially on websites with is age. I met someone on MSN who was related to a friend of mine, I shall not mention their name but they turned out to be 21 years older than they claimed to be.

Do you ever change your age for things you do? If so why?
I prefer to be open with some of my details, age is one of them, however I would be interested to hear what you all think.
No. Everything I say is truth. I have no need to lie. Occasionally if I'm describing myself I'll start describing one of my rpg characters and make myself seem more attractive but....

rpg character for those interested who is also being used in a story by a friend of mine. Another friend drew it.. But this is one of my D&D characters. or use to be at least. Few variations and alterations but the idea is there.

I'm 20, last year I was 19, etc. I always told the truth, unless I was lazy, or felt like watching an age-gated video on a site when I was younger then the minimum, because, well, I played M-rated games when Iwas younger, so age-gate means nothing.

I said I was 18 on YouTube so I could watch half the videos.
My MySpace age is two years older because when I made it I was 13.
Other than that, no.
But I lie about being a girl sometimes, I'm sick of guys coming up to me online and saying, "You look like you want to give me a blow job."

My own age. I find it stupid to pretend you're older than you actually are (except when needing to watch trailers and such, but not for long as in 3 months I'll be 18).

The only times I lied about my age is on Xbox Live and PSN, and that was only so I can have access to all the features and so I didn't need to create a parent account.

And whenever forums ask my birthday I just choose random options.

I'm 17 and was born on July 27, 1991 in case anyone wants to know or cares

I feel honesty is the best when it comes to any social gathering. You never know what could happen at any place or time, so be honest and hope for the best.

Age doesn't matter to me, it all has to do with your level of maturity.
I never change my age for any gaming purposes.
