I remember by the end of the first season, one of them said. "I cannot believe a year has already past!" Guess what? There are like 13 seasons now, and still going. Maybe Ash has a growth disorder. : /

Just because the first season took a year doesn't mean all the others happened in real time. Hell, maybe only 4 or so years have passed depending on how the time works. Or maybe Ash is a pokemon and they never grow old.

Ok here is a better question, what the hell is wrong with the parents in the pokemon world. The allow their 10yr olds to go out into the world on there own. What if there are pedophiles or murderers hiding in that tall grass, along side all the wild pokemon.

Oh they did--In a banned episode...Team Rocket had (kind of a pun) rocket launchers--It wasn't banned for that, but what it was banned for is irrelevant, and they fired them with the intent to kill Porygon.

That shattered my world when I read it a couple of months ago. Pokémon was a huge part of my early childhood, so it had me feeling miserable for hours. Just thought I'd let ya know

He hasn't aged because at the end of the first season, they had the idiotic idea of using him for the next region, instead of doing a sort-of-reboot every time. Yes, it would be repetitive, but I'd find it much more interesting to follow Ash in one series, Gold the next, and so on. Perhaps even a female protagonist, too. It coulda been more like Digimon.
And let's face it, after the first season of Pokemon, the digimon cartoon blew it outta the water in comparison.

Also, why does everyone think May is the hot one?
Because there are only three main female characters, of course. The chick from G/S/C only breifly showed up...
