The developers seem to have a major fixation with the turn of the 16th century. I guess they felt like they needed to reconcile for barely even mentioning the big things going down just little south and east of their strangely isolated renaissance Italy.

Assassins Creed's story has been awful for me since the ending of Assassins Creed 2 introduced the alien things. Now I just play it for the jumping stuff.

I'm glad they're moving back towards the middle east. However, I hope they scrap the changes to the combat system from brotherhood. In fact, I prefer the combat in the first game over the other two, I'd love to see that return.

Constantinople would be great! I'm not really all that familiar with it in the 1500s but I imagine it would still be a sight to behold. But I'm surprised they're continuing with Ezio. I mean he was already 48 at the end of Brotherhood and it was already getting pretty unbelievable that he was still jumping around rooftops like a 20 something.

Altaïr, Ezio, and Desmond? On an actual real considerable game, and not a tiny unplayable knock-off? I'm so excited I might have a stroke! Then revive, because no way in hell am I missing that.

Could be cool, definite milking.
I was saying this when Brotherhood was released. I had all manner of glitches and hiccups in Brotherhood. The flow of the story and gameplay wasn't quite as good as it could've been either. This is what happens when you do a sequel in a year.

got to go and lie down now!

but seriously I was hoping for a proper ending to Ezio's story (that wasn't on the 3ds) and that seems to be what I'm going to get.

Now I just need to start hoping for a fix for my dodgy leg and my life will be complete!

I was really hoping for Assassin's Creed III set in late tsarist/early revolutionary Russia, just like the AC comic.
But hey, more AC is always good. More AC multiplayer goodness - even better.

Seriously? They are really using Ezio again?

Fuck that, this is now a no buy for me. The series is officially being milked. Show a little innovation, for christs sake.

+1 on the general hypemeter!
Love assassins Creed! Glad Ubisoft is concluding this particular storyline well and without dragging it too much... That said I want more AC in the future, maybe with a whole new set of characters.

Sorry, but I was sick of Ezio even before I'd finished AC2. Altair was always far more interesting to me. Heck, I even found Desmond more interesting than the Pimp of Monte Cristo.
