Really, tho, what more could you want? Sturdy as all hell, reliable as all hell, packs a hell of a punch (gotta love that 7.62mm round), and it just looks plain badass!

But perhaps an AK-74. Lighter bullet (which means more ammo), same basic design, and still just as badass.

They have interchangeable parts and look kinda similar, well, the receiver and suppressor does.
9x39mm is technically rifle ammo. It's 'necked up' 7.62x39mm (AK-47) ammo.

But I guess those rifles are a grey area, seeing as all three are automatic. But that AS Val looks like it doesn't have any sighting, and that it was meant for a scope, though.
