At Least One Anime You Love and One You Hate

I really like the Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood series recently for its long but not too long anime episode list and decent story telling.

I hate most animes that deal with sports trying to be like a game or a tv series just doesn't cut it for me.

The new Yu-gi-oh GX. For a series that should have ended a long time beforehand, it goes above and beyond the call to be horribly bad.

Loved: CLANNAD. One of the best high school romances ever animated for one very simple reason- it was willing to go BEYOND high school to explore life beyond the standard rom-com cliches. That and it's unbelievably heartwarming and beautiful.

Hated: KissXSis. This series is the ultimate condensation of everything that is wrong with the anime industry today. A festering pile of garbage with absolutely NO redeeming features that is basically softcore pseudo-incest porn. Hell, I've seen actual porn that's better.

If you loved Clannad I gotta recommend Kanon 06 its very similar but i gotta say Its very hard to distinguish which is better, The main character of Kanon is the same as the main in Clannad yet the opposite watch to see what i mean, but Kanon and Clannad are the only series I've given 10/10. OH but be prepared if you get affected emotionally by a series ^_^

Like: Baccano! This anime, while incomprehensible at first, becomes my favorite anime with great character development (IE Jacuzzi Splot, Ladd Russo). Add a dash of wonderful, stylized art and two cups of plot revolving around 1930'es gangsters, age-old immortals and fanatic killers, and top it off with a teaspoon of American voice acting BETTER than the Japanese, and you have a very delicious anime for you and your friends.

Hate: Any anime with more than 70-ish episodes. I know I am generalizing, but I can't stand that type of anime.

Baccano was an awesome anime especially with the two comic relief characters.

O.T. anime I love: gurren lagann, baccano (seriously go watch it now), and FLCL
anime I thought were meh: lucky star (pretty decent to watch if you're into the slice of life), melancholy of haruhi suzimiya, hellsing (good action but never got into it reading the manga)
anime I hate: girls bravo (as generic as enchis come) and I refuse to see ikki tousen
