It should be about the Navi teaming up with Disney and Microsoft to hunt down James Cameron for making a movie that blatantly rips off Pocahontas and Halo all in one go.

PS: Big congrats for the guys at Weta Workshop for winning an Oscar for their work on Avatar
Avatar was concieved before the Xbox was even invented....also, Halo rips off the aliens franchise which was another one of Jame......ohh whatever just take this [http://g4tv.com/thefeed/blog/post/701803/James-Cameron-Strikes-Back-At-Halo-Fans-Criticizing-Avatar.html]

Well, I don't know what it should be about, but I have faith in James Cameron to deliver.

He is after all, one of the few men who delivered a sequel that was better than its already great predecessor. In Hollywood, that's a rare thing.

Also, he's a notorious perfectionist, so I don't think we'll have a rush job on our hands. Yep, I'm looking forward to it indeed. He's been planning a trilogy all along, so I guess it'll all come together.

Needless to say, I loved the first. Perhaps too much actually, I've seen it 4 times and I'm not bored of it. It's just got this great sense of wonder about the whole thing. Reminds me of my childhood.

Hell, the second might do an Empire Strikes Back and be even better than the first.
He says the sequel will be cheap and fast, so yeah and three years away, too bad we won't see it......because OF 2012!!!!

Maybe it'll turn into a crossover with Aliens. Wayland-Yutani takes over the company, and unleashes the xenomorphs on Pandora!

It's title should "Avatar II, My Big Fat Pandora Versus The Deathly Hallows Striking back at Muriel's Lethal Wepapon: Reloaded" because the first one took so many ideals off other films it should a least try to be honest of where it got it's ideals from

WAIT!

I do have an idea! It's more of a setting than a plot, but hey.

The humans have come back with massive firepower, and conquered Pandora completely. The Na'vi put up a brave resistance, but they just can't hold off against that much. Flash forward 800 years. Pandora is completely industrialised. The humans colonized it, and run most of the major cities and towns. The Na'vi are forced to live in slums, and are persecuted and attacked by the police and army daily. The Na'vi's past are unknown to them, until one day Mr or Mrs(main character) finds ancient ruins that chronicle the once great civilization. The film charts the rise from total subjugation to a viable guerrilla movement that fights back against the human occupiers.

Where the first film found beauty in nature, this would find beauty in urbanization, a la Bladerunner.

That wasn't too bad for something off the top of my head.
Except that it would just be District 9 with cat people.

You are correct, but then, after the original trilogy, the series went downhill so quickly.
Yep, but then again, so does almost every single thing. Barely anything has made it past 3 installments and still been good.

..Except Rambo. I think the 4th film in the series might actually be the best.

Other than that though, the list is pretty sparse. However, the original trilogy is just so damn good that it compensates for how terrible the prequels are.
And that's the direction Avatar will head after a sequel or two. Hell, the original wasn't really anything worth mentioning, but its plot still stood on it's own.

Hope he doesn't use the same stupid alien race again, what's the point of having a sequal to Avatar anyway? It just isn't that type of movie.

It's probably for the money, I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if it had the same story as Pocahontas 2.

Ehhh, no thanks. A fresh movie in a new world would appeal to me more than a sequel of Avatar. I definitely want to see graphics like Avatar's again though.
