So I'm to be compared to the KKK here?
My opinion is not evil, the resource was obviously important for humanity's growth if it was worth so much, that's why I justify killing off the Na'vi for it.
No, that's not what I said. Only if you didn't mind the slaughter of the Native Americans, as the troll suggested. That would've been KKK levels of evil. The movie is just a movie. The Na'vi were pretty annoying anyway.
The movie didn't say that it was important though, just that it raked in lots of dough. There's a difference between that and actually being necessary. Who knows, maybe it was used to make ultra-realistic pleasure dolls. We'll never know.
Still, I don't see the point in murdering the Na'vi for it though. Negotiations are
so much easier and, very important, less lethal for both sides. I'd rather keep our boys out of harms way
I prefer our tech to flying a dragon to be honest.
Eh.....wa....uh.... Have you no imagination woman?! It's a
dragon!!! Like....ROAR and WOOSH and...stuff. And it can rip people's heads off, especially that big Turok thing! And...and... *awesomegasm*
*ahem* That was my boyhood playing up, I think.
Lets just take the best of both worlds, Na'vi and humanity combined:
Why choose? Just mix!
That doesn't mean we can't still kill off the Na'vi.
What's the point? They know the most about the planet, plus if humanity would've just went there to research and didn't get greedy, I doubt any armed conflict would never have arisen between them anyway. Co-existence isn't that hard, technically. We can learn from them, they can learn from us. More productive in the end.
Yeah but that was not the case.
Thank the Lords of Kobol for that. At least one side got it's ass kicked. In a pretty spectacular manner at that.
