I already have District 9, so no.

Sharlto Copley improvised his dialogue for the entire film (which was also his first full feature) and he produced a character that was emotional, realatable and realistic.

Sam Worthington (a man with years of prior acting experience) depicts a shallow space marine who would stab his team in the back and slaughter dozens of his fellow humans when given the correct (ahem) motivation (i wouldn't even trust this guy with my socks).

you do the math

also district 9 has the better looking aliens and weapons, which is a big win in my books.

If I buy Avatar now it would be for the Riff-Trax only (yes, they are doing one).
Yup, and they released yesterday. Got it, already created the dubbed-in disc version, watched it, laughed my ass off. First half-hour is a little slow with the riffing, but once Neytiri shows up, Mike, Kevin, and Bill turn it up to 11.

Not quite as good as the well-deserved sledgehammering they gave Twilight and New Moon, but pretty damn well-done nonetheless.
I'll be watching RiffTrax: Avatar tomorrow night. These guys make movies worthwhile.
