S.T.A.L.K.E.R.

...

That's all I have.
Yahtzee did a review of S.T.A.L.K.E.R., to anyone that comes to this site, they're probably heard of it.

Not many, i'm pretty sheepish when it comes to gaming, outside of the FPS realm anyway.

notable ones for me would be The Mark of Kri, P.No.3, Amplitude (which is still one of the best sound-emulation games that i have ever played to this day), and Bubsy.

It was a popular series but I seldom here anything about it. Medal of Honor: Rising Sun, A buddy and I would play against all the possible bots on a map with two boats side by side. We set the guns up the the only one used was the Welrods.

The search bar - it seems that nobody has heard of that game, particularly the OP.

I've never heard anyone other than myself talk about:

Culdecept Saga
Colosseum: Road to Freedom
Crush, Kill, Destroy
Mr. Do!
Extermination

I don't know whether or not anyone has ever heard of these titles but I do know that they're not talked about much.

I hated that game. I'm just not a Godzilla fan (at least I think it was Godzilla, it's been a while since I played that one).
Oh, cmon. Everyone knows Mr. Do! (aka Dig Dug)

I'm going to go with Legendary Wings, Destination Earth, and Metal Mech. I enjoyed those games back when TV shows opened with "presented in TECHNICOLOR". :)

EDIT: My bad. Destination Earthstar. It's been oh...18 or 19 years now, heh.

X2: The Threat.
I picked it up on Steam recently for £5 and it's a pretty damn awesome Space game in which you set up shitloads of trading outposts all across the galaxy and buy ships to add to your space faring armada, then completely ignore the story in favour of flying off somewhere and blowing up millions of pirates, all in real time.

Fantastic game if you're patient enough to endure a 10 hour learning curve.

They're the same game? I always hear people talking about Dig Dug but I've never played it. However I played a crap-ton of Mr. Do! as a kid and never hear anyone mentioning it. Makes a lot of sense now. Thanks for clearing it up for me.

Arcanum. The Industrial Revolution hits Middle Earth. Insane variety of character builds, and to my knowledge the only western steampunk game.

Aussie Rules Footy, a football game on the NES. Probably the first game i remember that had voice! Then there's Terranigma, Super International Cricket, Stunt Race FX. All awesome.

Illusion of Gaia: An amazing game similar to Zelda in many respects, but was such an amazing game with great setting, story, characters and sound track was exceptionally amazing for the SNES era.
Gemfire: Also a great game for the SNES, a decent turn based fantasy strategy game that I still remember fondly to this day, my only regret is not buying it when it was being sold at the local video store.
