Halo 3, I liked it despite what the haters say.

Also Dead Space which many people said was mediocre

And Gears of War 2

There are some others but you get the idea.

Universe At War (I'd never heard it was bad but someone else in this thread mentioned it) and Rumble Roses XX. Laugh at me all you want.

I had fun with the Van Helsing game for X Box. The movie sucked but the game was fun. Sort of like Devil May Cry. I don't think it got very good reviews though.

Too Human, I thought the combat system worked very well with the enemy "swarming" tactics, and that its only true flaw was the repetitiveness, if they got rid of that, it would have been a far better game.

Recently, I got the Devil May Cry anniversary collection, and from seeing some reviews for DMC2,I had my doubts when I first got into it...and as of just finishing it today, I have to say, I enjoyed it alot more than the original...the gameplay felt more smooth, and as i do like the wise-cracking Dante, i enjoyed his more serious and mature temperment in this one......

Another one on my list is PoP:Warrior Within...I know Sands of Time was good, but it was bland...basically all it was is solve puzzle, attack attack, dagger, repeat...and again, WW added more gameplay, depth, and story....yet all i hear are complainants about it being too "emo" and was shunned....

Ok, so really, was just wondering what other badly received or reviewed games that u thought were awesome
The reason Dante is much more serious and mature in DMC2 is because it is actually the last in the series so far...I think. DMC2 is when Dante is oldest I think...

The order goes like this I believe:

3,1,4,2.

If you play them, you will understand what I mean. In DMC2, Dante is more mature than normal because instead of just slaying demons and that being the end of it, it's actually about him. He's trying to find out about his Dad, and history repeats itself. It's quite a good story if you understand it.

Back in the NES days, I had a game called "Boy And His Blob". It was the weirdest thing I ever played and no one I let play liked it at all.

Oh, and CoD5 seems to be on everyone's shitlist. I thought it was a decent game.
They only thing I don't like about CoD:5 are the fucking knives

Actually by most accounts everybody (including Capcom) wants to just forget DMC2 ever happened and pretend like it doesn't exist.

A 'bad' game I love is GOD HAND. It got low reviews and it's a pretty polarizing game due to it's difficulty and barebones presentations, but if you love action games than it's one of the best PS2 games ever made.

I played and rather enjoyed Mercenaries 2. Sure, it's shoddy as hell. But, it's damn fun.

Infinite Undiscovery got poor reviews for some reason, but I thought it was a good game with an intresting story and combat system.

Far Cry 2 and Sonic Unleashed.
Those two games are great, Farcry 2 being one of my favourite games of all time. However, I'm still confused with the save system on Sonic. When and where do you save the bloody game!? >=(

Viking. Apparently everyone hates it. I cant put it down. Its like my 5th favorite game.
Viking for me as well, it's is an awesome game.
Most game websites give Enclave (Xbox) a bad review and say that the controls are broken and a whole lot of other bad things about it but it's one of my favorite games.

Baroque.

In reviews the game got alot of 4's, but the way it presents itself is so unique, I can't help but like the game.
I enjoyed that game too, it wasnt exactly what I thought it was when it got it, but I started to grow on me....also, It has one of the weirdest stories I have ever seen

Also, Driver:parallel Lines..it may just have been a GTA clone, but it was a good GTA clone
