Drakenguard, somewhere inside i know the combats repetative as hell, the sequel sucks and its dragon sections are basicly any airfighter game with a fancy skin. buuut something about the dark dystopian atmosphere and music from start ot finish hooked me in, that and fighting giant cannibal ghost babies in the final level.. yeah.

advent rising, sure it had some bugs, BUT I FUCKING LOVED IT
Agreed. The story, albeit a little cliche, was executed and told very well, and the soundtrack was amazing. I still wish they had released a brief "what happens after" script or story when they realized they wouldn't be making the rest of the trilogy.

I don't think it's a good game, but I have been playing Jaws Unleahed and enjoying myself. I'm new to this sandbox thing and the game does offer a few niceties that shows their hearts were in the right place if their programming skills were not up to scratch. Such as the unlockable special move where you throw a person into the air and then leap out of the water and catch them, instantly dismembering them.

But it is buggy. I tried to collect all the treasure chests to unlock god mode because the story missions are frustrating, and I got them all, but no god mode. I suspect it's like the Tomb Raider nudity code.

I liked quite a few games that earned the hatred or contempt of gamers worldwide:

Turok: Stabbing dinosaurs was pretty manly.
Army of Two: It was alright, even if the AI did have a mental age of five every now and then.
EDF 2017: Repetitive, yes. Long, yes. Suprisingly fun, yes.
Dead Space: It wasn't perfect but I still thought it was pretty damn good.
Too Human: It made sense for this game to be epic (it had Odin, Loki and Thor in after all).
Red Faction 2: While it's considered as a downgrade from RF1 by many, I still thought it was a great game anyway.
DOOM 3: It wasn't quite like the original Doom's we know and love but it was still fun to play (switching your flashlight over wasn't that irritating).

The Godfather II. Sure, it was a bit repetitive and with glitches, but I had fun with it. The Don's view and character/weapon customization were ace.

Back in the NES days, I had a game called "Boy And His Blob". It was the weirdest thing I ever played and no one I let play liked it at all.

Oh, and CoD5 seems to be on everyone's shitlist. I thought it was a decent game.
They only thing I don't like about CoD:5 are the fucking knives
Only thing I hate is:

Respawning enemies in single player
AI has god like throwing and unlimited grenades
Squad does Jack shit
Unbalanced multiplayer
Really annoying perks
Pretty much a new skin on COD4 which was a new skin of COD2

Other than that it was pretty fun. I don't know why people are proclaming it to be the best online game ever though. It's pretty average multiplayer with perks and it's really quite unbalanced.

Final Fantasy 9- I often hear it being called the worst of the series but out of the... 9 I've played it's the only one that managed to hold my interest.
The new POP wasn't as bad as everyone makes out. It's different to the old trilogy sure, but it was a well made game none the less.
Also I have to say my guilty pleasure is WWE Smackdown VS Raw 09 at the moment.

You are Empty. While I can definitely see why most thought it sucked (the enemies are my biggest gripe with the game), the postapocalyptic soviet atmosphere made me enjoy it. Too bad the ending sucks so much... there should have been two endings, but they cut the second one from the final version. :/

I thought Assassin's Creed was good. Sure the guards pissed me off. But that didn't stop me from buying it. The worst was when a drunk guy knocked me into a guard and the guard attacked me. Exposed, mission failed, had to do the whole fucking thing over again.

Two worlds is a great RPG, who gives a fuck about voice acting? Everyone just compared it to Oblivion which is ridiculous, completely different game.

Lets see... I played Dynasty Warriors 3 with my friend for pretty much a year. I unlocked everything in that game, it was great mindless fun.

Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex for the PS2. It plays very much like a 3rd-person Halo. The multiplayer is also pretty fun. Dunno why nobody liked it... I guess it's about time for me to review the game or something.
