Call it Modern Warfare 3: Future Warfare. Make it about a cybernetically enhanced space marine fighting to protect Earth against an invading alien force, guided by an AI that lives in his helmet.

Stay in school kid haha...

- Definitely don't have dedicated servers.. or do, but have 1... in Mexico.
- Just include a 10 minute training missions for the campaign... in which you die.
- Include invisibility cloaks for snipers
- Create a Warp Spider class

So many problems MW2 had could have easily been found and fixed with a proper beta.

If they did have a beta would they have even cared about people suggestions and the shitload of problems?

If it took them that long to fix the M1887's I doubt they would have really fixed any of the many faults in a beta, because they fixed so few of the faults in the actual game.

Modern Warfare 3 in and of itself is a bad idea.

Seriously, just wrap the story up in a book or graphic novel, but I don't ever want to see a game like MW2 terrorize gamers again. So unbalanced, so glitchy, so...just...wrong.

Killrewards:
5 kills - 30 second autoaim
10 kills - LMG rocketlauncher (infinite ammo, 30 second duration)
15 kills - 5 combat choppers (stay until shot down)
20 kills - handheld AC-130 cannon (for the rest of the round)
25 kills - Invisibility for 5 minutes
30 kills - Compilation of todays most belowed hacks and cheats

We also need some suitable punishment for those n00bz that die !
1 death - 10 second freeze of movement (occuring at random times)
5 deaths - Weapons removed for 30 seconds
10 deaths - Autokick from current game

Amen! The realism FPS needs to die and needs to die fast. It's ruined much of the genre for me as a whole. It doesn't help that other developers are running with the idea that putting out an amazing FPS gets you billions. I miss the days when we only have two realistic shooters and they were set in WW2 Medal of Honour and Call of duty.... 2

I am sick of seeing war games. They're all the same.

when making an FPS it's generally gunna have a war-ish theme.. just saying..

I've come to realize. And it's slightly annoying. I am sure SOMEONE can come up with an original FPS game. The main character doesn't always have to be some kind of soldier.

Half-Life? Maybe Portal. Both FPSs where you aren't a soldier.

I know of those, but those are the few. And I also mean any kind of non-war setting FPS. OR during some kind of war. I know Portal has nothing to do with war. Half-Life sorta does, what with fighting those aliens and what not. (I played the game, just forgot the names xD)

A randomizer button for everyone with a 5 second cooldown time. Either your character dies by itself or you get to pick an enemy who dies from a list.
