I miss Savage Garden the most (they split up after 2 albums because Daniel Jones, who handled the instruments, got fed up with being in the spotlight so Darren Hayes went solo). I also kind of miss BB Mak (I think they only made 1 album before vanishing).

SYSTEM OF A DOWN.

WAAAAGH COME BACK TO ME!

Also Chili Peppers are on hiatus at the moment. God knows when they'll be back again.

Nightwish, they need to have Tarja come back!!!!!
Agreed, the only 2 I can think of at the moment are Nightwish and Guns N' Roses. (I don't consider Chinese Democracy to be a GNR album.)

Smashing Pumpkins. I know Billy's trying his hardest to pull somthing resembling the Pumpkins back together but it's not the same.

I know someone already said this, but I'm staying true to my avatar and saying Pink Floyd - I know they still existed under the name "Pink Floyd" for a while after they broke up, but without Roger Waters, it just wasn't the same.

First Post!! =D

On topic, I would have to say that SiKTh (Progressive metal) would definitely be my most missed band, truly wonderful musicians with so much talent. But I still would rather see them break up then have a bland new album.

I would say Jimi Hendrix...but part of his allure is his death. Still, I wish he had made a couple more albums.
And one more thing, the Chili Peppers being on hiatus makes me fear for my life.
Everyone has already mentioned Queen, Beatles, etc.

I wish Roger Waters and David Gilmour+ A new drummer would do a tour. They did Live 8, can't they do more? I'm still pretty young and seeing Pink Floyd live would be amazing.

And what happened to Jet? They released a pretty kickass album and then promptly disappeared.
Jet have just released a new album. Don't know where you live but here in Australia they get a fair bit of radio time still.

I'm going to have to say Blur for this one. Sure they had a reunion show in the UK but I'm pretty sure they won't be coming out to Australia. Also, recent news of Noel Gallagher leaving Oasis has left me fairly upset.

System of a Down for me. Technically they're just on hiatus, so they haven't broken up yet. Unfortunately, I threw that argument out the door when I heard Serj say "indefinite hiatus". I hate Scars on Broadway too, so I only have Serj's solo albums to look forward to.
yeah i miss system too, they were just so creative and at some times almost ground breaking, i really want them to get back and make some more studio albums
but i have to admit i quite like scars on broadway, but serj's work is still the best, i wonder how his work with the sydney national orchestra is going for that new album
he said he was working on a more jazz type album and im honestly intrigued

is there any chance of getting blink 182 back but without tom de'longe's annoying voice?

I'm still pretty pissed that Evanescence split up. I have both their studio albums and sincerely wish they'd done more.

Wait, shit, this is a forum, I must respect other peoples opinions.
I want the Marty Friedman lineup of Megadeth back, best music EVRAR.
