It's all good. No hard feelings, I'm just a bit hard-nosed about these things so I may come off a bit strong sometimes but I mean nothing by it.

I've heard of a few bands in this thread, specifically Pendulum, Equilibrium, and Electric Six. Edit: aaand Flogging Molly.

Now, go listen to some Holy Blood if you like your Blackened Folk Metal. Or Exhale if you like Grindcore. (Look up "Exhale Parasiter" on Youtube. Nasum fans will fucking love this band.) Slechtvalk for someone looking for a Black/Gothenburg/Folk Metal mix. Augury if you like experimental Technical Death Metal.

I don't understand how a lot of the time people give me blank stares when I say I like the Arcade Fire or the National. Some one asked me today who the Flaming Lips were and I just had to kind of roll my eyes.

As far as bands that even less people have heard of: Godspeed You! Black Emperor, the Antlers, Jose Gonzalez, Bonnie "Prince" Billy, the Sea and Cake, Sigur Ros, Tortoise...
