Honestly, I am so sick of Batman and I've never really been a fan (only thing I was a big fan of was his animated series) people say he is more relatable but then say he can beat superman in a fight.

I think what batman needs is a serious rival. Don't get me wrong, I like the dynamic that he has with Joker ... the joker is the "happy" excitable one who is the bad guy and the good guy, who is usually happy, is the miserable one but it's a cycle that's worn thin ... bats captures joker, throws him in arkham asylum, joker escapes, kill or endangers people, bats captures joker and repeat.

I think he needs a ras al ghul 2.0 ... a Moriarty to his Sherlock, a Joe Caroll to his Ryan Hardy (the following), a red John to his Patrick Jane (the mentalist). I think it would make things more interesting 'cos at the moment, it seems like the bad guy sets a trap, bats throws a spanner in the works and the day is saved, locks them up, they escape and nothing has changed.

Maybe I just need to watch more batman but I don't think the character has been really challenged before.

Eh, IMHO, both Batman and Superman tend to be equally dull, their supporting characters are more interesting. They work well as thing that affect interesting characters, though.
