It'll most likely be compatible with the Pro controller, which is pretty much the 360 controller with the PS3's button placements.TehCookie said:Oh god the horror, I have no idea how anyone will be able to play a fast paced action game like Bayonetta on that clunky tablet controller. I have no problem with it being on a nintendo console though.
The Oddworld series went exclusive for Xbox after Exoddus.Fappy said:I can't think of any franchises that went exclusive in their core line of games after having been multi-platform. It's a win for Nintendo in any case.
I'm too poor/cheap to pay another $50 or whatever to be able to play a single game. However that's more of an issue for me and my wallet rather than Nintendo.ToastiestZombie said:It'll most likely be compatible with the Pro controller, which is pretty much the 360 controller with the PS3's button placements.TehCookie said:Oh god the horror, I have no idea how anyone will be able to play a fast paced action game like Bayonetta on that clunky tablet controller. Yes the Wii was a sellout.Kleingeier said:I think it comes more from a place of realizing that a long time ago, Nintendo pretty much ignored or only dipped their fingers for hardcore gamers. By far, they went the most cynical, money-hungry root trying to get the jump on casual and family gaming, while Sony and Microsoft tried it all. All of the titles you listed were either regulars or AAA's before they were taken exclusive; what we see here is Nintendo grabbing at recognized action titles because it realizes all the Zelda and My Little Pony isn't good for its image.Stavros Dimou said:Whoever rants on this is an amateur fanboy.
Perfect Dark was a Nintendo series and Microsoft secretly bought Rare to fire all of its people, just so they can give the licenses of the studio to some untalented slackers, and thus Perfect Dark Zero was an xbox360 exclusive and a big turd.
Halo was designed to be an Apple Macintosh exclusive, when Apple decided to strengthen its until then week gaming aspect of its computers, and Microsoft suddenly and secretly signed a dirty deal and made it an exclusive for its consoles.
Skyrim,a game of the once exclusive PC series, now have its dlcs having time exclusiveness for xbox360...
SONY doesn't care about exclusives that much, but copies everything Nintendo does. A Mario Kart clone named Crash Bandicoot Kart or something,a Super Smash Bros clone,Wiimote clones,etc...
I can't stand hypocrisy.
It happens all the time, yet when your favorite console publisher signs exclusiveness deals you are all "Oh how great Microsoft and SONY are!!!" and yet when Nintendo does the same thing you say "Oh how dare they do such a thing ? They are evil!!".
Double standards and hypocrisy. I'm disgusted.
Well, we haven't actually seen the game in action yet. And, you haven't played with the controller yet. From pretty much every source I've read I've heard it's still a pretty comfortable controller to play with.TehCookie said:I'm too poor/cheap to pay another $50 or whatever to be able to play a single game. If being a fanboy was a profession we'd have quite a few millionaires on this site.SmashLovesTitanQuest said:An amateur fanboy, as opposed to a proffesional fanboy...? Wut?Stavros Dimou said:Whoever rants on this is an amateur fanboy.
Yeah I have that same feeling. I'm a PC gamer too, although I did own a Wii when I didn't have money for a PC. I have some weird loyalty to Ninty now, even though I'm probably not going to buy the Wii U I really hope it does well. And I like that they're sticking it to PS3 and 360 users with this game. Always fun to see console gamers do what they complain us PC guys do all the time.poiumty said:As a PC gamer, I am both bemused and satisfied. Delicious tears, nom nom.
Though it'd be even better if it wasn't a console exclusive at all and everyone could play it.
because I'll never get to play it since I'm never getting a Nintendo console unless someone give me it for free which will never happenj-e-f-f-e-r-s said:Nintendo are financing and publishing this game after Sega dropped it, and a bunch of other publishers rejected it.Tony2077 said:i liked the first one and this is how I'm treated they better make it for other consoles or i have another reason to hate Nintendo
The only reason Bayonetta 2 is alive at all is because of Nintendo.
This is like someone nearly getting run over by a bus, and people complaining that the person who saved their life was dressed in a scruffy suit.
It doesn't matter. Bayonetta 2 is now a reality. How can you ***** at a publisher for financing a game that people were crying out for? It's stuff like this that people mean when they call gamers entitled.
they really are not the same. they are the same genre, and share similarities of most games in that genre, but calling them the same is pretty ignorant. it's like saying cod, halo and battlefield are all the same game, when they aren't.omega 616 said:Bayonetta 2 WiiU exclusive? Who gives a fuck? Just play the "re-imagined" DMC and pretend your are playing a sexy lady. God of war, DMC, darksiders, bayonetta and Dante's inferno are all exactly the same ... light, light, heavy is the game beating combo and ranged weapons do dick for damage.
That seems genius. VALVE READ THIS PLEASE!TrevHead said:The problem with PC is that there isn't a hardware company who can make exclusive deals like this.
It would be nice if Valve or AMD did something similar and fund a really great AAA PC game,to push steam or sell high end GFX cards
hmm not my fault either since i really don't care i just don't want to buy a Nintendo console for any reason. well back to ignoring the bs on this site and waiting for someone to post a comment on the persona group pagej-e-f-f-e-r-s said:Well then, that's your own fault, isn't it? OT: bleh, i just hope this exclusivity doesn't last. i have no intention of buying a WiiU no matter how much i loved the first bayonetta. still, i hope for the franchises' sake it does well.
